At this time we are due at Stockland shopping centre in our normal spot, outside OPTUS, this Saturday 28th Mar The plan is to stay as long as possible towards Easter depending on government restrictions and our customer and own safety considerations.... Personally I can’t see much past 3 or 4 days. We are still offering all our normal range of goodies plus our unique Jakes Candy Easter treats and Easter eggs. For those unwilling to come into the shopping centre we will offer free delivery (in Rocky suburbs) and a 10% discount on orders over $50. First in first served. We bring all your favourite lollies from the show, none more fresher than our two main sellers, honeycomb and rocky, freshly made at Jakescandy Bundaberg. Did I mention the fudge? Soft and creamy or the traditional harder crumblier recipe. The Best. All others are pre...tenders. Our main tables have usually 150 varieties to chose from but we managed to add a few more, The bulk section is going off and the love it or hate it section, Dutch Licorice and Salty plums,is always popular in Rocky. Due to the current virus crisis and the uncertainty of being allowed to trade but more importantly our health we have decided we will NOT be arriving at Stockland this Easter. A decision not made easily I assure you but it is my opinion that more strict shutdowns will occur before Easter making planning and stock control impossible to predict. 11.01.2022 BOOVAL Ipswich it’s your turn. To all our dedicated Ipswich customers we have returned to Booval fair a little earlier than scheduled. Our first day is today and we leave next Wednesday 25 mar. At least that is the plan, things are changing daily as everyone knows. We have bought all our Easter range of products including rocky road rabbits, solid choc rabbits, marshmallow rabbits, Easter baskets and our premium quality sugar Easter eggs. Of course our usual range of Jakes...candy treats are with us as well as a large selection of Dutch Licorice Save a few dollars from the ever increasing bulk lolly section. I usually end the post with a smart quip about getting in early but this time I stress that some decisions are currently made for us so please get in sooner than later and maybe a little panic buying is in order. Not without a bit of drama (the eftpos machine forgot to pack itself, thanks Annette for the sos back up) Great weather for confectionery. The rocky road fudge and honeycomb have never looked or tasted better. The team at Jakescandy have really got the ‘A’ game together. Of course our whole range is on display and just waiting for new owners. Salty plumbs, Dutch Licorice, mega sours just naming a few different taste se...nsations. 10.01.2022 Check out our store room, packed full of goodies ready for the Easter run which starts at Stockland Gladstone centre court on Monday. With more than 50 Easter baskets and heaps of sugar Easter eggs, this year was a little hard to improve our stock but we managed to add giant heart candy eggs, and welcomed back an old friend, scorched peanut bars, and bilbie chocolates. As usual, only at the shopping centre for a week but could be shorter with bad weather coming so I suppose a bit of panic buying is in order lol. Looking forward to catching up with all our customers in the next 4 weeks See ya soon
