21.01.2022 Tax time is very close! You can book your appointment for 2020 now. But make sure you have details of all your income. Most employers will not be issuing payment summaries (Group Certificates) - but we can get that information from the tax office for you.... Don't forget to have receipts or evidence for all your expenses. "The major reason the ATO knocked out claims was that people did not keep a receipt or some sort of evidence that backs their claim." Extra special rate for anyone currently on JobSeeker - $110. Usual rate for an Individual return - $154. Returns prepared by myself - senior experienced accountant. Contact us if you have any questions. https://www.abc.net.au//tax-time-ato-work-related/12359448

07.01.2022 As Always - Look after yourself. Oh and let us take the stress out of your tax return. :) https://www.publicaccountant.com.au//time-to-mind-your-men
05.01.2022 Just a reminder to be very careful of scammers. I got a very convincing one this week - looked very legit - except I don't have an account with the business they mentioned. I googled their phone number and called them direct. Yep - SCAM. If they say it is anything to do with the tax office - just tell them you have to check with your accountant first - and give me a quick call. If it is the ATO they will appreciate your suspicions and will be happy for you to call them back. Here is a great website - https://www.scamwatch.gov.au//current-covid-19-coronavirus
04.01.2022 It will be easy to find us now. New office at 164 Anzac Avenue. How good is this sign? Parking on the right side of the building.

01.01.2022 Very kind of our two Christmas Holiday workers Oliver and Caitlin Gray to provide lunch to the team today by way of thanks before they head back to school for the year. Unfortunately for Oliver he was already at school today! - A lovely surprise, so none of us were ready for a impromptu photo - LOL - Great sushi!
01.01.2022 If in doubt perhaps try saying - "I just have to check with my accountant", and ask for a number to call them back on. If it is the Tax Office, I'm sure they won't mind, and if it is a scammer they will not end up with any of your hard earned money. Even if you don't have an accountant - just pretend. Call us if you do need an accountant. :)
