19.01.2022 100% recycled polyester: This is the sustainable jersey of VfB Stuttgart With the new 3rd jersey, JAKO and VfB Stuttgart are taking another step towards sustainability. The jerseys and the matching collection are made of 100 percent recycled polyester. White-red in the hearts and all in green for more sustainability and environmental protection. This is the core message around the 2020/21 3rd jersey. The collection itself - jersey, stadium shirt and stadium jacket - is made o...f recycled polyester, which for example was made from old plastic bottles. The different shades of green of the jersey symbolize its "green character". As on the away jersey and the purple keeper jersey, the Stuttgart city map discreetly forms the background. The place-name sign and the coordinates of Bad Cannstatt are placed in the inner neck band. Rudi Sprügel says: "The issue of sustainability also plays an important role for us as a team sports equipment supplier. That's why I am all the more pleased that we were able to realize this special collection together with VfB Stuttgart. We support the message behind it 100 percent. We want to continue to work on this in the future. VfB CEO Thomas Hitzlsperger added: "We are well aware of our role model function.
