Cecil is a seasoned Grand Prix mount who after a successful 8.5 years of partnership, has done is job for me and is now ready to give a Junior/Young Rider/Amateur confidence and experience around the bigger classes. If the perfect horse was to exist then this guy would be pretty close to it. He is a really easy, straight forward ride who knows his job. The horse has no stop and no dirt, even at the biggest of fences. Hes careful, brave and very, VERY honest. Consistently in the placings (a few from this year mentioned below -cant remember them all...) 1st - Round 1 WA State Senior Titles 2nd - WA State Senior Titles Final 1st - 1.35m WASJA 1st - Swan River Mini Prix 3rd - Paterson's Plate Grand Prix 1st - 1.35m GCEC Well educated on the flat, easy to have around, really good traveler. 05.01.2022 Our beautiful boy Air Wings Z is off to his new home in the Netherlands. I wanted to get some photos that were not just of Errol and Georgie flying over the jumps but some with me with him as well. So these beautiful photos were taken at Brookleigh Estate by Vickiphotos - Show Horse & Event Photographer. Errol will certainly be missed here in WA but he does have babies on the ground and still to be born and I hope they fill some of the gaping hole his departure leaves. I loo...k forward to following his journey back in the land of his birth. Safe travels Errol , you have left a huge hoofprint on our hearts but I feel so privileged to have been a part of your journey. A huge thank you to Georgie, who helped make this photo shoot possible, Vicki Tapper for the beautiful photos and Brookleigh Estate for the venue. 02.01.2022 I suppose most people know by now so I thought I would make it formal. I recently had an offer for Air Wings Z ... Errol from a Olympian s stable in the Netherl...ands. I decided to accept that offer and Errol will be leaving WA in December. I bought Errol from Mya Goldsmith from Harrington Horses when he was 2.5yrs old and imported him into WA. He started his ridden career with Darren Taylor from Taylormade Performance Horses who put an amazing foundation on him and rode him to win the Western Australian Young Shiwjumping Horse championship in 2017. Darren gave Errol a lot of confidence. Then at the beginning of this year Georgie Siciliano of Sovereign Performance Horses Australia took over the ride and we all watched Errol live up to his name. I think all of us in WA who were so fortunate to get shows happening before anywhere else, got a lot of enjoyment Errol and Georgie in the ring. As so many of our shows have been live streamed and the commentary has been so amazing .... other people got to see him too and just enjoy what a lovely combination Georgie and Errol became. I have certainly enjoyed the journey and all of us that love Errol so much have shed a few tears of this sale. However, for me to import a horse from Europe, have him produced in WA only to be sold back to such a top stable in Europe is a good thing for WA Equestrian. It is certainly a feather in the caps of Darren and Georgie who have produced this young, very special stallion to this level. COVID has changed the world but the good thing. About live stream is it is what it is .... it’s not a cut and paste. I am sure there will be others that follow in his footsteps. I would like to thank the many people who have loved and supported Errol along the way. He has such a fan club in WA and I’m sure we will all miss him. I would especially like to thank Darren and Georgie, who brought out the best in him and helped him to soar. Also to Ashley Gallagher who was the go between and had the connections to make people aware of what’s happening over here I am getting him collected and frozen so I can cover all his breeding commitments should we not get them all done with fresh before he leaves. While we will have some tears when he goes I am sure you all join me in wishing Air Wings Z a wonderful career back in the land of his birth. Thank you Errol for being the perfect unicorn and bringing so much joy to so many. You will be missed
