25.01.2022 We have a couple of JEP horses in the Young Horse Show. JEP Arizona owned by Isabelle Hutcheson and JEP Galorado owned by Evie Ipsen. Arizona has been campaigned very successfully by Issy and Evie is just starting out with Galorado as she is a 4 yr old but coming along beautifully. We wish them all the best in today’s show

25.01.2022 Our beautiful boy Air Wings Z is off to his new home in the Netherlands. I wanted to get some photos that were not just of Errol and Georgie flying over the jumps but some with me with him as well. So these beautiful photos were taken at Brookleigh Estate by Vickiphotos - Show Horse & Event Photographer. Errol will certainly be missed here in WA but he does have babies on the ground and still to be born and I hope they fill some of the gaping hole his departure leaves. I loo...k forward to following his journey back in the land of his birth. Safe travels Errol , you have left a huge hoofprint on our hearts but I feel so privileged to have been a part of your journey. 24.01.2022 Was not what I had planned for this weekend... I was meant to be strapper for Rebecca Donovan who was meant to be riding Gladdys...... but on Friday I got compl...ete FOMO of not being able ride...borrowed clothing thanks Kate Jankowski, and off I went realising I could do it (even with a broken hand ) So then I felt totally prepared for the Amateur Final with absolutely no riding training at all because I was not allowed to ride for 5 weeks (insert Medical opinion here ) AND... Gladdys jumped her heart out to look after me and we placed 2nd absolutely love this mare and I am just so thankful to Jennie Franceschi for trusting me with her. Rebecca Donovan for pushing me into even trying on your pants (it was never going to happen!) oh and riding Gladdys for me! Chadd Donovan for helping me with the course And everyone else who kept my horses fit for me through my broken hand. 19.01.2022 IN THE BEGINNING Back in the early days we bought this wonderful mare from the Yalambi Stud in Margret River. Her name is Yalambi Waltzing Matilda or Tilly as we call her. Jakoma was lucky that Alison Rowland took the ride on and Tilly and Alison travelled all over Australia, New Zealand and Europe competing at showjumping events. Tilly competed to 1.50 in Europe, where she currently resides. Alison made a dream come true for me when I got to watch Tilly jump in the main aren...a at the HOTY in NZ. I also got to watch her in Europe and had a wonderful holiday over there. We have bred 6 wonderful foals from Tilly. Her first foal was JEP Matildas Boy ...by Chicago. Later changed to JEP Texas , Her second foal JEP Valentinoz by Yalambi Carpino Z was purchased by Alison and had a name change to JEP Kinky Boots. Ty as we called him has since been sold to Japan. In Europe under the care of Equiception, Matilda has delivered us colts by,Kentucky van't Ruytershof ( JEP Kryptonite) Nixon van't Meulenhofand ( JEP Negotiator) and Cornet Obolensky ( JEP Cash the Cheque) and a filly to GLASGOW VAN 'T MERELSNEST ( JEP Goosebumps) or as we call them Kevin, Neville Colin and Gretel. Matilda is currently in foal to For Pleasure and hopefully making her way back to Australia to her new owner. Jakoma Equestrian Park was built on this horse and rider combination and we thank Alison Rowland for that she did for us and wish her well with her new adventure, after she leaves the Oaks in Hong Kong xx See more

17.01.2022 JEP Heart Warming JB jumping a double clear for a 7 th place, in her very first show. Competing in the Novice, Cameron Mitchell ones again doing a super job on our special mare. So happy with how good she has been considering how green she is. We have a 2 yr old gelding out of her to Air Wings Z who is as bold and brave as she is. He is for sale.

Today she jumped the 1.10 in her second show and while she got 1 rail it was just a green horse rail. Cameron is building her confidence by being a quiet and kind rider and Celia is stepping up beautifully. Thanks Cam

05.01.2022 JEP Galorado ... ( Porscha)a Gladdys x Balou who is a 4 yr old. Owned and campaigned by Evie Ipsen. Jumping beautifully over the weekend at the Busselton Winter Showjumping festival. Gladys has given us 5 ET babies to different stallions and all are beautiful. Relaxed easy going horses. Only 1, 2yr old available, a filly to Air Wings Z Porscha jumped the 95, 105 and the 1 m. We are all really proud and excited to see this combination develop. Like Gladdys, all her babies are special and Evie is doing a wonderful job bringing on her young horse. Well Done Evie of 3 beautiful rounds

02.01.2022 HORSE and RIDER PROFILE Chelsea Whittington and Gladdys Van De Breemeersen Born into generations of horse trainers Chelsea began sitting on her dads horses before she could walk.... It wasn’t long before Chelsea began training under Jennifer Brockman in the Showhorse scene in the early 80’s competing at her first Royal Show at age 7. Then in her early teens switched to Showjumping under the watchful eye of her coach and Sister-in-Law Carol Warwick and became a member of the Showjumping Young Riders Squad managed by the late George Hall. Competing in many Young Riders competitions on her little TB called Springbok, and then her beloved QH x Clydesdale Tonka Tough aka Dexter she stopped riding when she was 28yrs old. Within the 13 year hiatus away from the sport, Chelsea married her husband Shannon and had two beautiful girls Zoe and Elle, and enjoyed the city life for a while. But the love of horses never left her blood so selling up in the city and moving to Oakford to start a Pre-training / Rehabilitation business 3 years ago led her back to the sport she loves. In 2019 the beautiful little TB Matchbox Hero gave Chelsea her first big win back in the ring the ‘Yalambi High Senior Classic’. Currently Chelsea has been given the fantastic opportunity to campaign the beautiful Gladdys, along with her green horse Chavez. Gladdys has already in a very short time given Chelsea a Win and 3 other placings in the first two months of competing. This in turn is allowing Chelsea to transfer this knowledge over to her younger horse and giving her the confidence again to compete at the higher levels. We look forward to watching these partnerships develop further. Gladdys Van De Breemeersen was imported from Belgium by the owners of Jakoma Equestrian Park, Jennie and Wayne Franceschi , for their daughter Donna to ride. Donna had a few years enjoying Gladdys with a few people along the way getting to ride her. When Donna had her first child Chadd Donovan rode Gladdys. Chadd and Becs son Angus also got to compete her on the east coast with great success. When Donna was pregnant with her second child Georgie Siciano competed her as well as Jakomas, Diamond B Casanona very successfully. Gladdys is by the Belgium Warmblood Stallion Adorado out of a Grannusso mare. Jakoma have bred 5 foals from Gladdys by embryo transfer and all have her amazing attitude and heart. Keep an eye out for this combination as they are a joy to watch.

01.01.2022 A very big Happy Birthday to a couple of my babies. JEP Texas turns 9 today. He was my first Matilda baby to be born and is by Chicago. JEP Hallonah or Hope as we call her turns 4 yr old today. She did a little ridden work with Cameron Mitchell before we turned her out for a break. We have a foal by Air Wings Z due any day out of Hope ( ET) and we will be doing another ET before Cam brings her back into work. Hope is out of Gladdys Van De Breemeersen by Stakkatol. It is also on this day that we lost surrogate mare Lexie .... RIP Lexie and thank you for the wonderful job you did for us in carrying Hope

01.01.2022 I suppose most people know by now so I thought I would make it formal. I recently had an offer for Air Wings Z ... Errol from a Olympian s stable in the Netherl...ands. I decided to accept that offer and Errol will be leaving WA in December. I bought Errol from Mya Goldsmith from Harrington Horses when he was 2.5yrs old and imported him into WA. He started his ridden career with Darren Taylor from Taylormade Performance Horses who put an amazing foundation on him and rode him to win the Western Australian Young Shiwjumping Horse championship in 2017. Darren gave Errol a lot of confidence. Then at the beginning of this year Georgie Siciliano of Sovereign Performance Horses Australia took over the ride and we all watched Errol live up to his name. I think all of us in WA who were so fortunate to get shows happening before anywhere else, got a lot of enjoyment Errol and Georgie in the ring. As so many of our shows have been live streamed and the commentary has been so amazing .... other people got to see him too and just enjoy what a lovely combination Georgie and Errol became. I have certainly enjoyed the journey and all of us that love Errol so much have shed a few tears of this sale. However, for me to import a horse from Europe, have him produced in WA only to be sold back to such a top stable in Europe is a good thing for WA Equestrian. It is certainly a feather in the caps of Darren and Georgie who have produced this young, very special stallion to this level. COVID has changed the world but the good thing. About live stream is it is what it is .... it’s not a cut and paste. I am sure there will be others that follow in his footsteps. I would like to thank the many people who have loved and supported Errol along the way. He has such a fan club in WA and I’m sure we will all miss him. I would especially like to thank Darren and Georgie, who brought out the best in him and helped him to soar. Also to Ashley Gallagher who was the go between and had the connections to make people aware of what’s happening over here I am getting him collected and frozen so I can cover all his breeding commitments should we not get them all done with fresh before he leaves. While we will have some tears when he goes I am sure you all join me in wishing Air Wings Z a wonderful career back in the land of his birth. Thank you Errol for being the perfect unicorn and bringing so much joy to so many. You will be missed
