24.01.2022 A note to people chasing lures I dropped a big order of lures off at Hooked on Bait and tackle on Friday and Mick’s back up and open tomorrow. A bit of everything from big Zeus right down to the new baby trinity in a variety of colours.

24.01.2022 When military aircraft had a confirmed kill they would add a victory decal to their aircraft to indicate the win, now you can do the same on your boat. We will be offering barrel victory decals in 100+, 120+ and 150+ they are 100mm long

19.01.2022 Well this lure has been along time coming it’s big sister the Trinity has been around for years and has accounted for some nice marlin and tuna, it’s short bubble shaped head and large cup lends itself to shorter positions and it has a great smoke trail and slight wiggle. The baby trinity comes in at 6.5 inches and suits up to 24kg tackle and is suited to leaders up to 150lb and we recommend hooks like 7/0 jobu. They will be available in limited numbers after the current lock down.

16.01.2022 I love it when I get something in the mail, Anton Vog sent me some lures that I had left behind after a trip up the coast a few years ago, the top one is the original Zeus shape which was a traditional shot glass shape with the flat face (which smoked like a pensioner at bingo, pre COVID of course) and the bottom is early Zeus jnr with resin filled eyes. These also exclusively used billmark skirts before we made the switch to yozuri. The bottom lure accounted for a nice 55kg bluefin around 8 years or more ago off bermi. Thanks Anton very cool!

16.01.2022 Great friend Fridge was doing a little bit of field testing of a new lure head, we are still finalising the finished weight but it seems to work ok! 116kg of stubborn SBT colour of the lure was ORB head is Boss Jnr centre weighted slant.

05.01.2022 Stivi and crew got this nice fish late this afternoon once the boat traffic died down at Bridgewater, the fish took a Zeus in angry skittle, While the fish wasn’t weighed it appears to be on the right side of 100, well done guys!

02.01.2022 Since Yamashita discontinued octopus skirts there have been some changes to the line up and I have run out of the Frosty skirts so from now on this will be Frosty more purple than blue hence the head change but I think it looks just as nice as the original.
