15.01.2022 We were very sad to learn of the passing of Deputy Captain Jim Shanahan of Hill End Rural Fire Brigade in the Central West of NSW. Our thoughts are with Jim’s family, friends and fellow brigade members who tried so hard to save him following a medical episode at a call out earlier today Our station flag is at half mast today, as a mark of respect.... RIP Jim

Even if the floods and fires didn’t affect us too much, the Covid19 issues have had an effect and for whatever reason, we have had more than our share of tragedy as a community. Our hearts go out to all those affected by the tragic loss of loved ones recently. On this R U OK day, let’s re-double our efforts to look out for each other, encourage the best in us all, call out bullying and harassment (there’s never a time or place for it) an...d ask the question - R U OK?
