25.01.2022 Congratulations to Emily and Cameron who participated in the Met West regional hockey trials last Thursday. Emily had a busy day playing numerous matches in different positions and made it to the final selection of possibles and probables, but unfortunately did not make it into the Rep team. Cameron also had a busy day and was very excited and happy to be selected in the Met West Hockey team. We are very proud of both of them and the way they have represented our school. Congratulations!

25.01.2022 Wednesday is national Indigenous Literacy Day and our JHSS book swap will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in the library. Students can still bring in books (up to 3) on Monday or Tuesday to the library. Swap days Wednesday and Thursday both breaks or from 8:15am. Please bring a gold coin donation any day this week to support the ILF, who help to supply books to remote indigenous communities. We would love to reach our target of $500 this year!

23.01.2022 After day 1 of the book swap, we've raised $290 for the ILF. This is a great effort but we’d really love to reach our goal of $500. If you are able to help, please bring your donation to the library tomorrow. The ILF is a fantastic organisation sending books to remote indigenous communities

23.01.2022 A reminder for Year 1-3 students that the Junior Sports Carnival is on tomorrow - please wear your house coloured shirt and don't forget a hat and water bottle. The House Captains have been practising war cries with the junior students leading up to the carnival, so we look forward to hearing them in full voice tomorrow. We know parents are disappointed that they are unable to attend, but we look forward to posting photos from the day for you to enjoy.

10.01.2022 Dear members, On 7 April 2021, I informed you that our ANZAC Day 2021 Morning Service was cancelled because our COVID Safe Event Plan had not been approved by t...he relevant authority. Since then, the Community and the veterans have rallied behind us and have stated that they want this Service so that we can pay our respects to those who have served and gone before us. We have also been supported by state government and local council representatives to hasten the approval of the COVID Safe Plan. Yesterday, we received the approval and I am pleased to inform you that we will hold our ANZAC Day 8:00 am Service on 25 April 2021 in addition to the Dawn Service at 4:15 am. Your team is now working furiously to put everything together within the remaining 11 days. We will provide more information progressively. Regards Georges

07.01.2022 Year 5-6 Swimming Carnival 2020

07.01.2022 Centenary Suburbs ANZAC Day services In accordance with the requirements of our State RSL Head Office and the Government, I submitted the mandated COVID Safe Ev...ent Plans for our ANZAC Dawn Service and the ANZAC 8:00 am Service on 12 March 2021. Although I anticipated a quick turn around and approval, we have not heard from the Government despite repeated attempts to get assistance. As at today 8 April 2021, our Safe Event Plans have not been approved. We have run out of time to organise a worthy and respectful ANZAC 2021 8:00 am March and Service. Accordingly, and regrettably, I inform you that the Centenary Suburbs Sub-Branch’s ANZAC Day 2021 8:00 am March and Service is cancelled. We feel very strongly that we need to pay our respects to those who have served and gone before us. Accordingly, we will hold a limited Dawn Service starting at 4:15 am on 25 April 2021. With the current Government COVID restrictions, we can accommodate up to 500 people outdoor, hence the need to limit the numbers. The early start should allow us to join the community for our 6:00 am driveway services. Lest We Forget Georges See more
