24.01.2022 Don’t forget about our Learn to Swim Holiday Intensives! JHSC Learn to Swim is offering Holiday Learn to Swim Intensives in January 2021! The first week from the 4th-8th of January and the second week from the 18th-22nd of January. Do you know of some of the benefits your children receive when participate in Learn to Swim Intensives? Here are a few of them!... 1. Children will cover a months' worth of their regular lessons in just one week! Whether children need to focus on refining or expanding their skill set, repetition enables retention of key swimming concepts, resulting in rapid progression of water confidence and technique. 2. Continuity in learning process! With back to back lessons, the shorter time between learning will increase children's retention rate of the skills they learnt in class the previous day. 3. Check IN and OUT of the pool grounds using the QR Code or manual register. Keep spectators to a minimum for mini-squad lessons. Drop and Go for ALL squad swimmers. Remember to socially distance. We managed to come home with a total of 11 shiny medals!!... and many P.B’s!... Our Learn to Swim Program aspires to teach children how to swim technically well while also providing the opportunity for children to have fun while learning! The ideal candidate would have background working with children and obtain an AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification. 15.01.2022 Brisbane Metropolitan Relay Champs 2020! What a day it was. On Sunday, 9 fine Jambo athletes arose to the challenge of the Brisbane relays. Most of the athletes photographed below raced 3-4 times and even up an age category to help their fellow team mates field a team. We fielded 6 teams in total... 5 U.14 teams and 1 U.16 team. ... Although we may not have placed in any of these races, our swimmers held their Jambo caps high and some even received some very respectable P.B’s. Sometimes loosing more than winning. That’s when you learn the most. I’m a very proud coach and slept well on Sunday knowing all my swimmers did their absolute best.- Coach Billy. Well done team Jambo!! See more

09.01.2022 Hi All, Due to recent events that have transpired due to an out break of COVID-19 in Greater Brisbane we will be closing the pool from 6pm Friday to Monday 6pm (8/1 - 11/1), as there is a 3 day lockdown. 04.01.2022 JHSC LEARN TO SWIM HOLIDAY INTENSIVES REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Our Holiday Intensive programs focus on building your child/children’s swimming technique and aids them to familiarise themselves with what they learnt in Term 4, 2020. The intensives run Monday-Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm. Each Learn to Swim Level has 6 class time options for you to choose from. Your child/children will come to their lessons everyday Monday-Friday at the same time and swim with the same swim... instructor all week, providing the opportuntiy for your little ones to build a friendship with our fantastic instructors here at Jamboree Heights Swimming Club! 01.01.2022 Introducing COACH Billy Bishell Jambo is fortunate to have a young and accomplished Squad Coach join the Jambo Family... Heres a little snapshot ....... Billy grew up swimming right here at Jamboree Heights SC and was a very competitive 50m and 100m backstroke swimmer representing at a Regional level. Billy transitioned into triathlon at age 11, representing Australia at the 2019 World Triathlon Championships in Switzerland. Currently, Billy is the Queensland Nissan State Series champion.
