10.01.2022 FAIRLIGHT POOL RENOVATION We recently completed this stunning pool renovation in Fairlight for our amazing and super relaxed clients the Burns family. I first ...met with this young family early last year and they had a great vision to change the shape of the pool and give the entire pool and pool area a well deserved and significant modernisation. The structural pool changes included filling in a rarely used and hard to clean spa, filling in a poorly designed swimout that impeded on the surrounding entertaining space, and concreting a new set of full length, child(and adult!) friendly steps across the pools shallow end. With all of these structural internal pool changes achieved, our next step was to finish this cleverly revised swimming pool. The clients elected to fully tile the pools interior using a very tasteful Ezarri mosaic (2502B) which myself and my staff tiled from start to finish - we removed the existing pebblecrete, re rendered, waterproofed, and then tiled this pool with a stunning end result. The coping and surrounds were paved using a gorgeous limestone from Barefoot Living called Valencia Cream Aged Limestone. The coping was custom cut and pencil round finished on the internal edge. James Hurt Building were engaged to build a well thought out roof over the alfresco entertaining space and also tallowood decking sections surrounding the pool. Frameless glass pool fencing was installed to make for a very clear and unobtrusive barrier. Aquaquip Evomax pool lights were added, along with new filtration equipment from AstralPool and a Theralux mineral pool chlorination. A very tasteful pool renovation which perfectly compliments their beautiful family home. Enjoy summer in the new pool guys! Nick
