This will provide young Canberrans with additional career pathways and choice. My son is an apprentice mechanic and I think we need to place greater value and respect on these roles. Having a dedicated trade school demonstrates our commitment to young Canberrans to get hands on experience and help them become job ready. You bet FIND YOUR GAME is all about providing more fun and opportunity for Canberrans to be outdoors and active and this includes watersports. Today we announced a second trial of waterskiing on Lake Ginninderra. There was a trial in 2010 and it went really well, the Government just lacked the will to follow through. ... We want to go back and test the waters again with locals to see what’s possible and if we can say yes to more watersports.

15.01.2022 Ok so I know not everyone is mad about corflutes, but they are a good indication of the lack of urban maintenance around our suburbs. The spring mowing program is meant to have started and yet so many natural strips and local parks are overgrown and boarding on dangerous - especially given it is school holidays. I have put in a request for some of the worst zones but really the only way this will change, is with a change of Government on 17 October Vote 1 James Milligan

12.01.2022 As the dust settles following the final count of the ACT Election (and the awesome AFL Grand Final last night) I want to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone elected as well as to thank all my supporters and volunteers throughout the years. Whilst the result is not what I hoped for, I still feel privileged to have served Yerrabi and will continue to find ways to contribute to local business, sport and our community. I take some comfort from the fact my beloved Tig...ers won the AFL Grand Final last night. Like our ACT election and 2020 in general, this grand final was very different. Held at night and in QLD, the atmosphere was very different and the way the season ran will have lasting consequences for how we conduct sport. Still we are a resilient bunch and I have no doubt sport will bounce back from COVID-19 - so too will the Milligan family. Thanks again for all your messages and well wishes. Onwards and upwards
