19.01.2022 PSA // Urban List Brisbane has put together the must dos for an epic weekend In Toowoomba!

17.01.2022 How good is the Garden City in spring! A total of 170,000 blooms have been planted so come play in the petals this spring. Did you know Queens Park has retained the charm and character common to 19th century public parks and botanic gardens, putting on a special show for her visitors during Carnival. ... Spread across 25 hectares, Queens Park is something to behold, with bright flower beds, large canopies of stately trees and acres of expansive green lawns, plus two playgrounds to delight the kids and an off-leash area that keeps the local dogs very happy. Queens Park is one of Toowoomba’s many gems and not to be missed! #tcof

08.01.2022 The new Tobruk Memorial Drive Lookout is now open! The Tobruk Memorial Drive Lookout construction is part of the $7.4 million Toowoomba Escarpment Parks Upgrades project The new lookout replaces the ‘Bob Dodd’ lookout that was removed in 2016 due to safety concerns.... The upgrade includes a new lookout with connecting paths and is surrounded by landscaping and street furniture. The concept designs for the new lookout came from an ideas competition run by Council in July 2017 that invited entrants to provide ideas for a new iconic lookout for the site. Entrants were to provide opportunities to take in the scenic views, to consider how the lookout linked to other park areas, to create different viewing opportunities and to produce an iconic Toowoomba landmark. The winning design creates a viewing platform and walkway that provides spectacular views of Table Top Mountain and the Lockyer Valley.
