14.01.2022 ****SPEED LIMIT REMINDER**** Can people please remember that the speed limit at Victoria Park is 10 km/h, which is signposted several times throughout the park.... While there are speed bumps in several areas, can people please pay particular attention when driving between the Stacey Pavilion and the Heiniger Shearer Training Centre to access the Big Shed. There is a speed limit sign in that area, just as there is at the main entrance gates, so can people please adhere to the limit. Please remember it’s a shared area for both vehicles and pedestrians and we most certainly don’t want to see anyone hurt. With junior sport to recommence shortly can people PLEASE SLOW DOWN!

05.01.2022 A friendly reminder that our AGM is tomorrow night. All ar most welcome to attend

04.01.2022 All community sport matches and training sessions have been cancelled from midnight Monday 16 November, for the next 14 days in response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in South Australia. More information: https://www.saca.com.au/return-to-cricket/return-to-play

04.01.2022 Unfortunately all Community Cricket (matches and training) in South Australia is temporarily cancelled (expected duration of 2 weeks) due to SA Health restrictions. This includes our under 16’s, 13’s and Junior Blast programs. We’ll keep people updated as to what changes may occur to any fixtures when play resumes

03.01.2022 Good luck to Maggie Clark, who is part of the SA Girls Under 15 squad

02.01.2022 Exciting News! Our application for funding to the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing to establish multi purpose changing rooms at the Stadium (to service b...oth the Stadium and Oval) has been successful! We’re very fortunate in that $400,000 has been allocated toward the project through the Grass Roots Football, Cricket and Netball Facility Program. Very exciting times and many thanks to the South Australian Government for the funding allocation.

02.01.2022 ****Friendly reminder to those waking dogs at the oval*** While it’s great to walk your dog and the Oval at Victoria Park is a great place to do so, can people ...please be courteous enough to pick up the mess left by their dog please. Most people are great and do so, but sadly it’s not always the case. Lately we’re having to collect dog poo from the oval before most matches. It’s great to have a shared facility like we do and we don’t want to stop anyone from using it, but can people please respect that other people use the facility for organised sport (Cricket, Football, School Sports etc) aswell as kids looking to have a hit of cricket, kick the footy or soccer ball, fly a kite and a lot of other things. It’s not ideal to have to deal with the mess from someone else’s pet, so please be courteous and pick it up. There are dog poo bags behind the goal posts at each end, with bins adjacent to them. Thanks

01.01.2022 Just a reminder Woodville and mid Nth trials are on Tomorrow. Big shed Jamestown ... 11 till 3 All grades U16 boys and girls U14 boys U12 boys
