21.01.2022 Here in Taree is Scotty Bones Collier (left), a line 2 press operator and Engineering Manager, Mark Redhead (right). Bones has been with the business for a number of years and is a fixture in the factory. Mark is new to the business and brings fresh eyes to our maintenance standards.

20.01.2022 This is a short video of the line two press at Taree. It captures the moment a slug is converted into a can. In a split second and at 150 tonnes of pressure the aluminium effectively plasticises. They go in cold and come out around 90degrees celsius with the process alone creating the heat.

16.01.2022 Pina Reynolds looks after end of line production QA at our Taree plant. Pina is originally from Japan, but now lives in Nabiac with her husband, has been with the business for about 12 years, starting out in sorting and proving to have a great eye for detail.

They were interested to hear how our products are made, how Jamestrong is punching above its weight as an Australian based manufacturer taking on the world. 03.01.2022 The Federal Member for Lyne, Dr David Gillespie MP recently toured the Jamestrong facility at Taree. As David said, ‘it was great to visit Jamestrong to oversee the operation and learn of our plans for the future’. Thanks for your support David. And it was great to see a comment from Andrew on FB noting that ‘It just goes to show manufacturing can be done outside of a large city’ We agree!
