12.01.2022 5 years ago today, I attended my first conference for self development. I was what people would consider successful. In fact the conference was a reward from one of my suppliers for getting them over $3,000,000 in business and we had over 20 people in my organisation, sounds good right!? But the the real story, I was in an unhappy marriage, I was not the dad that my son deserved, I was working 60+ hours a week and my health was suffering at a embarrassing level.... How things changed since then! I have spent over $100,000 on my development and not one cent has been wasted. I turned my company to the best performing in 2018 at the industry awards while losing 20kg becoming stronger and healthier. I have a beautiful partner inside and out and most importantly I could pick up and drop my son to school, have a week off during his school holidays, by becoming the provider I knew I could be. Why am I sharing this? So many people invest in the wrong areas, you are the best investment you can make, you can only have as much success as your skills, mentality and work ethic allow. So the answer is become better and learn from people that have been there done that, saves YOU time. I believe that’s the most valuable thing, because time is the one thing you can’t get back. I wish I started this younger!
