10.01.2022 This is the new "taste of film" offered on Celebrity Solstice which we're lucky enough to have in Australia for a few more months. 01.01.2022 Only a month until I'm on the beautiful Celebrity Solstice again. If you've never experienced New Years Eve with Celebrity you're missing out. Their ships are usually still done up for Christmas and they really know how to throw a new years celebration. Top tip is make sure your bar staff know you and you've pre-tipped them personally in addition to the prepaid grats. On the busy nights this makes such a difference to the cruise you expected to have. This tip extends to all c...ruiselines. Although Celebrity is a solid 5 (although I would say 5.5) star experience like with everything else in life you get return for your investment. It you're one of these people that don't believe in tipping "because it isn't part of Australian culture" you need to understand that Australia is not the centre of the universe. Tipping is a very personal thing but at the end of the day sure you can tip your friendly bar staff and people bringing you meals but those poor guys working their backsides off for minimum wage so you can have a nice meal and clean linen don't get anything except for minimum wage. Keep this thought in mind when you say "no, I'm only tipping if someone give me good service".
