24.01.2022 Looking for something delicious to make for afternoon tea tomorrow for Fathers Day. Then try these legendary CWA lemonade scones served with a delicious award-winning Jammad jam! Our choice is Strawberry and vanilla Lemonade Scones CWA Ingredients 1 cup Pure Cream... 1 cup Lemonade 3 cups Self Raising Flour Pinch of Salt Flour, for dusting Jam and Cream to serve Lemonade Scones CWA Instructions Preheat the oven to 180 C (fan-forced) or 200 C (conventional). Sift the flour into a large bowl. Add the cream and then the lemonade. Quickly (but gently!) combine the ingredients into a dough in order to trap as many bubbles as possible into the mixture. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and, once again gently, roll it out to a thickness of about 2cm. Cut your scones out with a cutter. Arrange evenly on a tray and bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden. Serve with Jammad jam and thickened cream.

23.01.2022 IIndian spiced potato with fried egg and JAMMAD Tomato Kasoundi, a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal! INGREDIENTS 1 kg chat potatoes, halved 60 ml vegetable oil or ghee ( cup)... 2 tsp black mustard seeds 1 onion, thinly sliced 2 tbsp finely chopped ginger 1 long green chilli, finely chopped, plus extra thinly sliced to serve 5 fresh curry leaves 1 tsp cumin seeds 1/4 tsp ground turmeric 1 tsp ground coriander 4 eggs To serve:JAMMAD Tomato Kasoundi and fresh coriander METHOD 1. Cook potato in a saucepan of boiling salted water until tender (10-12 minutes), drain well and set aside to steam (5 minutes). 2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add mustard seeds and cook until seeds pop (1 minute). Add onion, ginger and chilli, and cook until tender (5-6 minutes). Add curry leaves and spices and cook until fragrant (1 minute). Add potato and 2 tbsp water, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste and keep warm. 3. Meanwhile, heat half the remaining oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat, add 2 eggs and fry until cooked to your liking (3-4 minutes for just set), transfer to a plate (keep warm) and repeat with remaning oil and eggs. Divide hot potato mixture among serving plates, top with a fried egg, scatter with coriander and extra chilli, season to taste and serve with JAMMAD Tomato Kasoundi. 09.01.2022 On a wet, cold Melbourne afternoon what could be better! Sitting in front of the fire, with a cup of tea and a piece of Raspberry coconut slice made with JAMMAD Raspberry jam. INGREDIENTS 90 gram butter 1/2 cup (110 g) caster sugar... 1 egg 1/3 cup (50 g) self-raising flour 2/3 cup (100 g) plain flour 1/2 cup (125 ml) JAMMAD Raspberry jam TOPPING 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1/3 cup (75 g) caster sugar 2 cup (180 g) desiccated coconut METHOD 1 Beat butter, sugar and egg in a small bowl with an electric mixer until combined and stir in sifted flours. Spread the mixture over the base of a greased 19 cm x 29 cm rectangular slice pan and bake in a moderate oven for 10 minutes. 2 To make the topping, combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. 3 Spread the hot base with jam, then topping. A big shout out to Pam and Simon at the beautiful Vintage Hall cafe in Glenrowan who are now stocking Jammad products. Once restrictions are lifted and we can travel to travel to regional Victoria ,do yourself a favour and head for Glenrowan. You can take in the history and have a sensational meal at the Vintage Hall Cafe.
