18.01.2022 Hey here's a bit of nostalgia. Anita is making photo albums over the break and we have discovered all sorts of stuff. This was a jammit type about 6 months before we went public. Having a hit at the Woodford Bowls Club. Brian (Edwards) you said you never went to these. You were are at this one. ... (Don't trust the date on the photo, NOT 14 years ago. If this was 2004, Brent, the drummer, would have still been in primary school) Jeff Mapstone was the one who came up with the name "jammit". I had been talking to these fellows about different names and I was considering jam this jam that that etc. He rang me up and and just said "jammit" and hung up. The rest is just history. Happy Christmas until next Christmas.

08.01.2022 Gidday Everyone, It has been about a year since jammit finished up. I know a few people reminisce occasionally and it is good to look back at the live and unrehearsed action of yesteryear. We have many new visitors as well. Quite a few hundred, new people have visited the jammit site in the last year. (43 new people just in this last few days) Perhaps some musicians are on holidays surfing the net.... Consider making the new year count by doing some random act of generosity before the end of January. The universe notices. And keep supporting live music. Regards John Lynn

03.01.2022 Remember when John Lynn used to write all the jammit articles. Here's a taste of yesteryear. February 13, 2013 It was a great first night back at planet jammit. We did miss our photographer Sue Jones who will also be away next week. Her family is holidaying in Canberra where Federal Labor identities are taking shelter from the Eddie Obeid avalanche. Lucky there was that drugs in sport story to take up all the media time. I suppose the Wag the Dog solution to cover the iss...ue was to release a corruption story in sport. Another two big things are going to happen next week. jammit will happen on Thursday and then the Asteroid 2012 DA14 will pass closest to earth on Friday. No, it’s not a hoax. Not like the Sandy Hook shootings. This is an astronomical event that has been predicted for some time although the Sandy Hook relief fund was set up on 11 Jan, three days before the shooting on 14 Jan, which is a seriously good prediction. Like jammit Knights, we had a round table meeting over the break and have decided to share the role of coordinating the acts for the night. Of course Sir Cumference was the roundest knight at the table so conversely Norm Smith will be next week’s coordinator. See you at jammit on Thursdays from 6:30pm at the Woodford Bowls Club.
