20.01.2022 Went for a drive to Margate this morning, and no, I didn't get down to the wreck, saving that for another day. Liked the clouds out to sea so couldn't resist

19.01.2022 Mountains in the Sky! - My first attempt at lightning, I was using my trigger for the first time. This was a very impressive bolt of lightning that went from West to East at around 1922hrs last night in Scarborough. Thank you to Amelia Martyn from the Redcliffe Peninsula Facebook page for the fantastic name for this image:)

13.01.2022 Looking north to south at Scarborough beach moments before a storm hit

12.01.2022 Standing out the front talking to one of my neighbours and this gorgeous guy flew in and landed on the fence. I was lucky my camera just happened to be downstairs and charged. It stayed for about 15 minutes and was very tame as I managed to get within about 4 foot of it.

The aircraft taking off from the Brisbane airport are coming across the coast here to avoid the storm out over Moreton Island. If you look closely at the second photo there is a QANTAS jet in it
