25.01.2022 Important changes Jandakot Primary School P&C Facebook page At the start of Term 3 we will be making a few changes to how we use the Facebook groups and pages. The Jandakot Primary School P&C page (previously called Friends of Jandakot Primary School) will no longer allow people to post comments or queries relating to things going on at the school. The reason for this is that it will become our public face of the P&C, so targeted at people not already part of our school commu...nity. The day to day comments, queries, conversations relating to events at the school such as sports days, assemblies, canteen, uniform shop etc. will be conducted in the P&C Facebook group currently called Jandakot Primary School Canteen (soon to be renamed Jandakot Primary School P&C Chat). If you are not already a member of the Canteen Facebook group I urge you to request to join the group before the start of Term 3 so you don’t miss out on any notifications by the P&C or other parents. 20.01.2022 A huge thanks to everyone who helped at the stall, cooked on the barbie, donated goods & bought goods ... I haven't added up the total yet but it looks healthy. We hope everyone has a safe & restful holiday break. See you all on Tuesday 19th July!!

18.01.2022 Lakeside Success Private Estate ( http://www.lakesidesuccess.com.au/ ) is the very generous company who donated the 16Gb iPad Mini to our sports day raffles. Tickets are $2ea and if you missed out purchasing yesterday at the Snr Sports Day, they will be on sale again Friday 16th Sept at the Jnr Sports Day and the winner will be drawn at the end of the carnival. We also have the $1 raffle for the table full of goodies donated from Vost Property Group.... Thank you very much. Your support of the Jandakot Primary School P&C is very appreciated :-)

14.01.2022 Tonight is the first P&C Meeting for term 3. Come along and find out what is happening in the school and have your say in upcoming activities and how funds are distributed. We love having new faces at the meeting with new ideas and points of view, so please join us.... 7.30pm in the staff room.

09.01.2022 Thank you to Vost Property Group for the extremely generous donations of raffle prizes for the Junior & Senior Sports Days. Once again we will have a table full of prizes!! Raffle tickets can be purchased on the day. Snr Sports Day (yr3-6) is being held on Friday 9th Sept. The 400m, throwing & jumping events are being held on Mon 5th & Tues 6th, events were listed in Tuesday's newsletter which is available online at the JPS website.... Jnr Sports Day (K-yr2) will be held on Friday 16th Sept. The P&C will be running a cake stall at both events and we need your donations of sweet & savoury goods for all us to enjoy, please! But please remember *NO NUTS*. We also need some helpers throughout both carnivals to help serve, the more helpers we have the easier it is. Once again the class with the most donations will win a prize. Thank you for your support :-)

02.01.2022 Congratulations to our fantastic principal Mr Hastings for being a finalist in the WA Primary Principal of the Year awards. Very much deserved recognition for a great leader of our school.
