12.01.2022 "COMPARISON IS THE THIEF OF JOY"! If you want something in life, if you want things to be better, don't fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others. The...re are literally dozens if not HUNDREDS of various categories you could split someone's life into. But when comparing yourself to others, your mind only picks the ONE category it's not happy with. Someone might have more money than you, for example. This is the only thing your mind will focus on. But what about their health? What about their relationships? It's most likely that you have something that they're just as envious of. Watch the video to go deeper. Have a great week, and instead of comparing yourself to others, compare yourself to who you were yesterday!



12.01.2022 Nutrition Doesn't Have to Be Complicated. I've never counted my macros, or tracked my calories (shock horror! ) Humans aren't robots. ... Sure, if you meticulously measure your food and track every little thing you eat, you will get results. But will you still be tracking your calories in 20 years? I've got a suggestion. Instead of treating yourself like a robot, and suffering a tidal wave of guilt and self-loathing every time you slip up... How about you work on your RELATIONSHIP with FOOD? This is the real secret, and the key to long term success. It's how I've manged to stay reasonably lean and healthy over the course of my entire adult life, despite enjoying pizza, chocolate and ice cream. It's about knowing what's good for you, and consciously using that as a criteria to select what food you plan to eat (not JUST taste). Sometimes, I'll choose to have ice cream for dessert because it tastes good. But for most meals, I prioritise nutritional value. If it tastes good, that's a bonus. What's your relationship with food like? Are you a yo-yo dieter? If so, maybe it's time to think about nutrition differently, instead of beating yourself up and failing again and again to get in shape and feel better. If this is you, reach out. 05.01.2022 Everyone says to be grateful... But why is it so important?? I think it's a matter of ATTENTON. ... If you pay attention to the negative in the world, or your environment, or your life, those things will appear to be worse than they really are. In other words, you get MORE of what you FOCUS ON. No matter how bad things seem, there is always at least SOMETHING to be thankful for. Get good at finding what that is, and FOCUS ON IT! Write it down, every day. Trick your brain to pay attention to the silver linings. See what happens to your life moving forward.
