23.01.2022 Hey guys, thank you so much for being patient with me while I haven't been posting updates. I have been extremely busy working horses and finalizing our setup. To any of my current clients, we have made some changes to our system. You will receive a message soon to explain this :) If you are wanting to book your horse in with us, please send me a message and I will get back to you with available booking dates. We will now be updating our page once a week to inform everyone ...what we get up to during training and working days. Thank you all so much for supporting our business and page. We really appreciate it!! See more

19.01.2022 "The reins should feel like silk in your hands. There should be a float in them. You should feel weightless. See how little you can do. Bring the horse to a wa...lk without using the reins. It should be in your body. See how slow and soft life can be without letting things die. Now pick up a feel and speed your horses up. Don’t sit there like a gut shot bird. Your legs are more important than your hands. When I’m on a horse he becomes my body, feet and legs. The reins are really hooked onto my feet and the horse is between my legs, arms, and hands. Don’t brace in the stirrups or he’ll brace back...............and there’s usually a buck in that brace." - Ray Hunt Image of Ray is by Mindy Bower.

18.01.2022 RE EDUCATION Beginning on re educating the race horse, the horse will be taken back to basics to understand the need for sensitisation. These horses are ridden and controlled mainly by the bit. They have one objective only and that is to work on a track. When these horses are put back under saddle, they must also be educated by separating their body parts and then put through all working environments to ensure a safe, willing horse.

18.01.2022 One of my favourite breakers yet. Miss Trixie... Kirra Collins she's a little gem!

18.01.2022 Thanks to a team of amazing people for getting the round yard up and going! Exciting days ahead

08.01.2022 Welcome to MP Breaking and Training Services My goal is to help educate not only the horses, but their owners to establish a good connection both on ground and under saddle. Learn how to gain the maximum amount of control with an outstanding, trusting relationship. Building confidence with your horse is an extremely important aspect of my business. Before horses leave the property we ensure that the owner and horse are compatible and the client is happy with the work we have done. We break, educate, and re-home horses. We also offer lessons, on my property or yours. The key to our method is desensitisation and sensitisation, along with pressure and release of pressure. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or queries regarding my services :)

08.01.2022 BREAKING Our breaking involves a lot of ground control work, on ground, in saddle education, and under saddle education. Each breaker is precisely altered and educated to best suit the rider and the horse's career. For 6 weeks we will continually focus on exposing the horse to a range of working environments. This includes in the round yard, in the arena, out on a bush track, lake hume rides, and taken on the rail trail as a final training achievement.

06.01.2022 LESSONS Client lessons are done on our property or yours with no additional charges for a 15km radius. Our lessons focus on furthering the owner and horse's education at the same time. Any specialised training can also be done as a lesson .

03.01.2022 EDUCATION Depending on the education required the horse will undergo a series of ground control techniques within the first few days of education. Under saddle, the horse will be doing a fair amount of circle work and body work. Body work separates the horse into 4 different sections (head & neck, shoulders, rib cage, and hindquarters) and works on each section independently to gain maximum control of the section. Once every section is able to work well independently, all 4 sections are then strung together to then create a well working, soft, subtle 4 legged partner.
