17.01.2022 2020 Jandowae Show (Meeting outcome) Horse Events Pending All other Show Sections Cancelled... The decision has not been made lightly, but evaluating the developments of the Coronavirus announcement from the Federal Government about non-essential gathering of over 500 people. This means unfortunately that the 2020 Jandowae Show has been cancelled with the Horse Events pending a decision until Monday Afternoon. We thank the many Stewards and Committee who attended the meeting this morning to collectively make this disappointing announcement , in considering the whole community , volunteers, competitors and front -line services.

16.01.2022 Saturday night we held our annual Showgirl Dinner! We would like to congratulate all 30 young girls who participated in this years event. And are excited to announce the following girls who will represent our show for the year.... 14.01.2022 This weeks shows update - Goomeri & District Show Society Inc - Postponed dates to be confirmed Warwick Show and Rodeo Society Inc - Cancelled with the consid...eration of a new date. Jandowae & District Show Society - Cancelled We would like to thank the general public for their understanding and support of our Queensland Shows. These shows that have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel their events and have done so with the health and safety of their entire community in mind in accordance with the information available to them at the time. Please show your support to these shows and we look forward to their future shows.

11.01.2022 Admission to the showgrounds is $10 for adults, $5 for students, $25 for a family. We would prefer pre purchase, via the website jandowaeshow.com but there will be tickets available at the gate. Please allow extra time and patience if purchasing at the gate to allow for covid regulations.

06.01.2022 Assessed grounds this morning and had a ride around on it holding up great sun is shining Bring on the 2021 Jandowae show horse ring events. Parking area is sti...ll a bit damp but we have a solution with a new parking area will post information later this arvo. We will also start Rings a little later to give it a but more drying time for parking New start times RING 2 - 8.30am RING 1,3,4 RING 5 will start after the Jim Wallace Memorial in ring 2 See you all tomorrow

Remember for the children the colouring in pages are on the website to print out.... 01.01.2022 I would like to thank all the people who have helped put together the 2021 show. Thanks for lifting, shifting, hauling and heaving all the big stuff and the little stuff. For the thinking , planning, phoning, emailing and organising. For all the cleaning , sorting, filing and preparing. The decorating, displaying, the judging, the set up and the pack down. For selling tickets, drinks, food and raffles. To the bar staff, the cleaners, the canteen and bbq workers. Stewards in... all sections, committee members , volunteers and all the families and offsiders. You are all amazing. From the youngest competitors, to the oldest, showgirl entrants and winners, and to all who have contibuted through sponsorship, performance and support in any way. This show is for our community and by our community and every single person who has stepped foot on the grounds in the last few days, weeks and months that has contributed to it's success - THANK YOU!
