23.01.2022 As we continue to celebrate our 50th, this week we're looking back to 1983 - The year we co-promoted the legendary Narara Music Festival. Advertised as a 'Celebration of Australian Music' Narara '83 featured all Australian acts including; The Angels, Australian Crawl, Richard Clapton, INXS, Cold Chisel, The Divinyls and Men at Work Held at a site near Old Sydney Town over the Australia Day long weekend (January 28-31), Jands Production Services provided the audio, lighting and stage management for the event.

14.01.2022 As we continue to celebrate our 50th, it's fascinating to look back at the way we used to do things. In early 1981 JANDS purchased and moved to a 3,000 sq m factory / warehouse at 578 Princes Highway St Peters. It was here the company purchased its first computer (complete with dual 8" floppy drives) and a Telex machine for local and international communications. To speed up circuit board, metalwork and woodwork production the manufacturing division invested in a range of new machinery.

12.01.2022 As we continue our 50 Year celebrations, we're looking back to the 70's - The decade it all began... The JANDS sound system used at the inaugural Sunbury was a fraction of the size and power used for outdoor events today. But people who were at Sunbury ’72 often reminisce about the volume and clarity of sound - especially in recollections of the night Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs appeared. At Sunbury Thorpe was reincarnated as a wild rock swashbuckler - sporting a ponytail, ...wearing jeans and T-shirt, slinging a guitar, vocal chords straining, neck veins dilating, fronting the loudest rock act in the country, with 35,000 like-minded fans urging him on during their two-hour set.
