25.01.2022 Visited a new family this week who just needed someone to give them confidence that they were on the right track with their new baby. Those early weeks can be challenging and you often need someone to just listen and give gentle support.

24.01.2022 We can so often worry if our babies don’t sleep or settle and we look for reasons why... it’s just because they are babies.... Great article with great info for new parents.

22.01.2022 So much in the media about women having no support when they have just had a baby. Midwives have always supported women and families during birth and postnatally and are still doing so in challenging times. If you need kind and knowledgeable midwifery support in your home after leaving hospital, please contact Jane Grant Care for more info. 0473 572 441 jane@janegrantcare

20.01.2022 400 clean birth packs assembled and packaged up to send to women in Africa to help them have a safer, cleaner birth. The Birthing Kit Foundation of Australia provide the kit contents and a large group of women spent last Friday evening at Point Church in Concord putting the kits together. What a wonderful initiative and thanks to super midwife Julianne Jones for hosting the evening.

16.01.2022 A great read about becoming a parent and how most women and partners feel during the early parenting weeks. It’s hard to prepare for this time but it’s so important to know about it.
