25.01.2022 It true form I took on way too many clients too fast after surgery resulting in..... ME spending the last 48 hours on pain med and being bed ridden. Not IDEAL. However, it’s showing ME that I have to SLOW down. Doing that isn’t EASY but what’s HARDER is the guilt I feel having to say NO to booking in CLIENTS.... PLEASE get appointments in until Jan/Feb 2021 ASAP as I will only be doing part time until December so naturally there isn’t much left. 20.01.2022 To my wonderful clients, What a surreal time we are living at present. Understandably the world is full of distress and fear. I suggest that we also look at it from a different perspective. It’s a time to slow down, to regroup and remember what is truly important. Health not wealth... Love not fear Isolation doesn’t have to mean loneliness My salon is still opening however here are some important guidelines. I will be seeing only one client morning and afternoon each day. This will prevent gatherings of people and keeping my home limited to maximum two visit per day. * Time slots are offered accordingly, allowing me to deep clean in between my guest and have allocated times between guests. * No children or others are allowed in the salon while you are getting your hair done. Please come alone. * If you are sick please reschedule. * All stock can be order via text and sent to you. Anything you need just ask. * We always prefer cash at this time however Afterpay is available for those needing a payment plan during these tough times, however small fee occurs. * I will consider home visits if you prefer but I ask you protect my safety by having limited humans in your space. Fee will occur to cover travel cost etc Without you guys my life wouldn’t be possible so I need you to know how grateful I am for your love and support you have given over the years and now Please know that the love you give me is also offered back and if you are in need reach out to me for absolutely anything. Fear, financial crisis and mental health will be where most are affected. This is a area I can help with through my mentoring, meditations and practises I live by. Please don’t be afraid to ask so I can offer these services either here or via Skype if you require isolation. I love to cook!.... and I’m pretty good So if you are busy working in hospitals etc through this crisis and need home made healthy meals please let me know, I would be happy to prepare and cook meals to help you in a time of need. I will be in touch with clients over the next few days to structure clients accordingly. To be honest I am blessed at this time to have my home salon. I avoid mass gatherings, busy shopping centres etc and can monitor who walks in my door. I feel very peaceful and calm with the chaos around me. 05.01.2022 ....and just like that I went blonde again It’s been 5 years since I was this light but I have to say I’m loving it so far. My beautiful gf @narellenarrierhair did the application for me. We took a halo around the perimeter of my head alternating w 1 x foil and 1 x splice, 2cm gap then treat all the way around. Then through the middle less foils to create more depth through the crown resulting in a halo of slightly darker hair hanging over the lightened halo section. Using... as always the amazing @nakhair products- Sugarplex w 6% through foils and splicing for 1 hour (this is how you get maximum lightening) We then toned with Soft 10/21 & silver through the halo section and 8/21 through crown- developed 20 mins. Hair condition definitely felt different than my natural hair previously as now the cuticle is open and raw resulting in vulnerability. To ensure hair stays in tip top condition I will only wash once a week for a good few month creating more natural oils in the hair. Not necessarily .... it is so important when you go into a salon with an image of what you want to achieve that you understand it is a GOAL. and the chances of you looking like the model can be far from reality. WHY- you ask? Firstly-history of your own colour influences results dramatically. If you have had reds or black for years getting clean light foils are going to take time, it’s a process. You hair is a canvas with years of history we have to work with. Density- thickness, texture and growth patterns play a huge role is how hair sits.
