20.01.2022 New bookshelf means an afternoon of rearranging!! I’m shocked this only took me two hours. Last time I spent four on a much smaller bookshelf.
19.01.2022 It’s been a little bit since I last posted! Somehow the time got away on me, but I’m back and I’ve got a special guest today! A dragon guest, to be specific. I’m joining in on the blog tour for Songflight by Michelle M Bruhn. This book is releasing on the 21st and it’s an absolutely beautiful story based in the highlands with dragons and magic abilities and an ancient war. I’m sooo excited for this book to be out in the world so soon!!
17.01.2022 Would you survive in your current read? . Happy release day @jill_williamson_author!!! This incredibly intense and eerie book, HUNGER, is now out in the great wide world!! . This book hits close to home, guys. Think worldwide pandemic, panic buying/looting, controversial vaccines and tests, and most of all: a desperate struggle to survive AND still do what you believe is right.... . HUNGER is the second book in the Thirst Duology, prequel to the Safe Lands trilogy. I enjoyed this story so much! It’s so eerie seeing the slow decent of the world and society into the controlling, unjust almost dictatorship we see in The Safe Lands. . 13.01.2022 What’s next on your TBR? . Don’t mind me over here looking like at the books I’m dying to read. . I’ve just finished (and been SLAIN BY) @daniel.schwabauer’s Operation Grendel and I’ve just started reading @sfrhoads.author’s Realms of Light, the INCREDIBLE upcoming sequel to Mortal Sight. I’m loving it so far and I cannot wait to devour it. ... . And at the same time, I’m also proofreading @jill_williamson_author’s upcoming release HUNGER! I’m neck deep in the sequels, it seems! But I’m excited for that one too. . Meanwhile, Dearest Josephine (@authorcarolinegeorge), From Darkness Won (Jill again!), Raptor 6 (@kendigronie), Oath of the Brotherhood (@carlalaureanoauthor), and SO MANY OTHERS are just death glaring me and promising to rip my heart out as soon as I read them and I just can’t wait. 10.01.2022 What book do you want to hear me read aloud? . #readaloudwednesday is coming back!!! For those who don’t know, a while ago I did a couple read aloud sessions of just the first chapter of a couple different books. Then I fell off the deep end and dropped that for a while, but I’m back in the game and keen to do allll the read alouds with you guys!! . This time, I’m going to be doing them LIVE, then posting the recording in IGTV afterward for replays so you can either tune i...n as I’m reading or rewatch after! I also may or may not get my cosplay on every now and then just to get in character... . So I want to know what YOU want to hear me read!! Do you have a favourite book you’d love to hear my audiobook sample of? (Note that I am NOT a professional narrator and don’t have publishers permission to read aloud entire books.
