24.01.2022 This was my sixth housesit with Shaylee over new year, and she is still as cute as ever. Loving her walks. Getting a little more deaf, but is so good. Was hot, but her fur keeps her insulated. She is such a princess, I didn't have the heart to give her a bath after the bush fires - just lots of brushing, even though a touch grey..

23.01.2022 KINCUMBER A new sit at Kincumber, with 2 great dogs during school holidays. Because of their age difference, I walked them separately - a slow stroll with the older Poppy, and a good walking pace with the younger Cooper. Enjoyed the walks along the Kincumber foreshore walk - so many birds, including a satin bowerbird that has built a bower right next to the path, a brush turkey that loved chasing Poppy (and every other dog), and a stone curlew at the other end.

21.01.2022 CAMMERAY again for the holidays.. love this cutie! and she is so good

21.01.2022 Loved being back at Killara in September. Sadly old Jimmy had passed away since I was there, but a nearly identical Millie has joined the household. At 7 months now, she is a cutie and loves playing with Monte. I was able then to take them to the park to socialise. Millie loved this, and Monte got better during the week, but still loved his ball.

20.01.2022 EAST KILLARA - looked after these cuties last year, and have just finished another 5 weeks. They have also booked me for next August/Sep! Jimmy and Monty enjoyed visiting Mum a few time - Jimmy loving the cuddles.

17.01.2022 RUTHERFORD Another great stay at near Maitland. Sally is so good and loves her walks.. although her body clock is sometimes a bit early.. Already rebooked there for October next year!

16.01.2022 KANWAL A week near Tuggerah Lake with Halli and the cat. Well behaved and easy. Walked to the lake each day away from traffic. They loved their food, hence the death stare while I ate mine.. You would think they never got fed!

15.01.2022 After two housesits with no pets (one for security, and the other a holiday house while the painters were in), I did an " ïn between" 4 day sit with this cute cavoodle in Berowra Heights. Just walked the fire trail there - would be a lot more smokey now! She didn't like me leaving, so stole and hid my socks... only found one stuck down behind the cushions on the lounge... !

15.01.2022 KARIONG Alby is a repeat sit, and again it was hot over Christmas, but he (and I) love the beach at Umina. Only a short one, but nice.

14.01.2022 few more pics of Cooper and Poppy

13.01.2022 A quick school holiday sit with Shaylee again.. she gets better and better (although getting a bit deaf). Starting to pick up a little now, but wish Queensland would open up.

13.01.2022 Don't normally do just a weekend, but looked after these cuties for a friend in between other sits in Saratoga

13.01.2022 MANGROVE MOUNTAIN A very quick stay up on the mountain with a cute rescue cat and some beady eyed chooks, with plenty of wild birds. Got to be careful with those chooks, they are food mad!

11.01.2022 Had another sit with a couple of old favourites at Lake Haven. Hallie (staffie) and Mabs (cat) were great and Hallie loved her walks. Introduced her to a favourite walk of mine at Canton Beach each arvo.

10.01.2022 EMPIRE BAY - this was back just as COVID was about to start. A couple of cuties and a nice walking area with Umina beach not far away. Then everything hit... travel & housesits all cancelled

10.01.2022 WAMBERAL A great week mid-Jan near the beach with the hansom Ralph. Such a good boy.

09.01.2022 WOODBERRY Located just at the end of the freeway near Newcastle, looked after a small maltese/foxie x for a couple of weeks. He had attitude, but got used to it - would snarl if you wanted to put a jacket on him, or touch his claws. Ended up putting a soft muzzle on him to do it. It was freezing the first week. Managed to visit the chocolate/cheese show at one of the vineyards in the Hunter - yummy testing. Was near the railway with the coal trains - they reminded me of Port Hedland. Longgggg trains.

08.01.2022 PATONGA Playing catch up on the posts.. End of January I was at Patonga during the fires. Hot... great cat. Enjoyed it!

06.01.2022 GALSTON A lovely bush setting for this sit with a large German Shepherd, for nearly a month. Walked twice a day on the firetrail in the bush. Was amazed really at the lack of wildlife. Bar a few ant holes and small spider webs, and some birds there was nothing else in the bush - no turkeys, no droppings, no tracks in the sand... nada... Seth would stop and smell something, but stopping would just highlight how quiet the bush was. Enjoyable peace. Did one walk along Berowra Creek.. days are too short..

06.01.2022 Loved this stay at Palm Grove.. so calming, and a great view for my arvo cuppa. Dogs and cats were great.. easy. Only downer was seeing the local wombat every day.. yes daytime - had mange and obviously blind. Contacted Wildlife Arc, but left before they came. Think this poor one was beyond help . :-(

05.01.2022 LAKEHAVEN Had a couple of weeks in Lakehaven, but didn't have the car for most of it while it was being repaired. So Kiah and I were stuck street walking. Did a couple of longer walks, but there are no dog friendly parks in that area. Last couple of days took him to Canton Beach where there is a nice walk along the lake and a chance for him to get off lead. Of course he found some poo to roll in! Lucky there was a hose in the nearby caravan park for a hose off.

04.01.2022 Spent nearly a month at Narara in Gosford looking after a couple of cute cats. One a teenage kitten - loved company and would love annoying, "playing" with the other. He would stalk, then pounce.. so cute.

02.01.2022 WESTLEIGH Had a great "smoky" housesit here with an older black lab, Nala. She had stopped street walking - putting down her haunches, in favour of getting in the car and opting for the dog park. Here she would be transformed into a puppy and didn't like it when no other dogs were there! Loved Westleigh Dog Park - everyone community minded, water, tennis balls and rackets on hand.
