24.01.2022 A reminder that last orders for the year will be packed on 15th December. I need orders in by the day before so I know what people want and organise payment. First orders in the New Year will be Monday 6th January.

24.01.2022 Hi to all my great followers. 499 to date :) My plants are receovering from the big repotting job I did in the spring and are now starting to grow some new leaves. A few casulaties, so please always check what is avaiailabel before finalising your order. Including a few alternative choices always helps me to know what else you may like. Flowers are all beautiful at this time of the year. The heat is not being kind on these recent hot days. ... Last orders for the year wil be sent out on Monday 14th December. First orders for 2016 will be on Monday 11th January. A new updated catalogue wil be available shortly, so please check the website. A few new varieties added, some oldies are out. Have a happy and safe Christmas period and enyoy your families.

22.01.2022 After a holiday away for a few weeks, I came home to a lovely display of flowers. I’ll work on a new catalog in the next couple of weeks ready to sell some leaves again for spring. Looking forward to sharing my collection with others.

16.01.2022 Many of my plants are now recovering and I have a few starting to flower again. They need a lot more growth before I can take any leaves off any plants. Looking toward the end of the year they may be ready again to do some leaf orders. I wil update my website when I am open again and a new catalogue with many new varieties and some old varieties.

16.01.2022 Almost finished repotting my stock plants. Now just some nice warmer weather for new growth would be welcome. New ceramic pots have arrived. Several already gone. Please include alternatives in case your choice stock plant is too small to take leaves from.

16.01.2022 Due to plant issues and the slow growth and recovery over winter I am closing my hobby, Jane's African Violets. I may reopen later in the year depending on my plants recovering. Thank you to friends who have offered to help me with the recovery.

11.01.2022 Hi to all my followers. I’m getting a new website created and a new catalogue. I will be able to do some leaf orders very soon. Hopefully even by next weekend. End of August but certainly by September for spring. There won’t be as many varieties but the quality will be great. Keep a look out on here for when my website is ready.

11.01.2022 I have done up new catalogues of available leaves at the moment. I will start doing some orders in the New Year. I don't want orders sitting around in the heat during the Christmas delivery period. (or squashed etc.) PLEASE be patient as I start orders agian. It has been a traumatic loss of plants this year. 10.01.2022 Thanks for all the likes on my FB page. Almost 100 in a week. How about a look around my website and create a wish list to order some leaves, perhaps in the spring. www.janesafricanviolets.com.au I put leaves down on 27th May and I have babies pocking through the potting mix on a leaf already. 4 weeks. These leaves are not under fluro lights, just in my kitchen near a skylight. Others are firm in the potting mix ready to push up some babies as well. I ship leaves on a Monday.

07.01.2022 Ceramic pots are available. Pick up only. Too fragile for postage. Would make a great Christmas present with a nice African Violet planted in it.

05.01.2022 I am back home now, but I have lost a lot more plants. I have a lot of empty trays now. I have tossed out many plants and plantlets over the past few weeks. Water was the issue this time. :( Hopefully I can start to get a small catalogue together of available leaves in the next few days. I have some new varieties coming along as well. They need more growth before I can take any leaves off those plants. Keep an eye out for a new catalogue out soon. ... Leaves will be limited until the plants grow more. I will only take a couple of leaves from each plant until more growth happens. See more

03.01.2022 I’m slowly going from empty trays, dead plants and poor plants to a few flowering plants. Spent the weekend potting up some new plants. I will soon be able to do some Africa Violet orders. Just need a bit more growth to happen.

02.01.2022 New 2020 catalogues have been uploaded to my website. Some new photos and a few new varieties available. First orders for 2020 will be sent on 6th January. I need orders and payment by Saturday please.
