In the early days after your WLS tracking your protein intake every day is good to keep you on track in order to maximizing the results from your surgery. . Long term you do need to track your protein every day in detail. But it is good practice to track your protein intake on a regular basis for say 3-4 for days (in a row) in detail. You will then know exactly how you are going and also tracking your intake brings so muc...h more awareness of what you actually eating. . It's not always the easiest behaviour to change, but it's worth the work as you then are working with yourself, and not against yourself. Hope this makes sense. .
