25.01.2022 Today I helped to farewell a 94 year old man and it was very special to me. 21 years ago I conducted a Naming Ceremony for a baby boy then 19 years ago I did another Naming Ceremony for his little sister. Their mother was this man’s daughter. Then I married another family member 14 years ago. The gentleman in question told his family that he wanted me to be his celebrant when the time came. He was the 11th child in his family and the last one left. And his beautiful life’s journey is now complete. I have a full heart.

22.01.2022 Can't stop laughing!

21.01.2022 This morning we farewelled a 95 year old lady at Springvale Botanical Cemetery with a great funeral director, Carly Dalton. The woman in question had a positive spin on everything and handled every challenge in her life with complete calm. Oh how I wish I had those genetics!! RIP Judy

21.01.2022 Most beautiful love story right here!

17.01.2022 On Thursday we said a very loving goodbye to my Hairdresser’s dad. Only diagnosed four months earlier. Went to Drouin Cemetery for Julian’s farewell. The family placed gum leaves on his coffin as he was a man who loved the Australian bush. RIP Julian and thank you for the honour Kylie Fogarty xx

14.01.2022 A few years ago but such a fun wedding between Jess and Greg who’ve now added to their family. And held at the stunning Carousel on Albert Park Lake. Thanks Sean Callinan from A Touch of Flash.

11.01.2022 Came across this beautiful funeral poem on Pinterest. Thought I'd share. Quote by Eric Hanson Perhaps we only leave So we may once again arrive, To get a bird's eye view... Of what it means to be alive. For there is beauty in returning, Oh how wonderful, how strange, To see that everything is different But know it's only you who's changed. See more

10.01.2022 No it’s not the bride! Far from it

09.01.2022 Another ‘oldie’

08.01.2022 "Hello Janet , I just wanted to tell you again from the bottom of my heart how beautiful your ceremony was. I just thought it was lovely and mum would have loved it too. Thankyou so much again Corenna "... So nice to receive this feedback during difficult Covid times. Corenna's uncle called me on the way home to say that his wife thoroughly enjoyed watching the live stream. After the chapel ceremony, we laid Wendy to rest with her loving husband, Ian. See more

08.01.2022 #thehuss Twenty-two years ago, I conducted my very first ceremony, a Naming Ceremony for my beautiful friend, Sara’s daughter, Zoe. And yesterday I got to conduct Zoe’s aunt’s wedding after having done 3 Namings for her. #countryweddings #marriagecelebrant #weddings #namingceremony #lovemyjob #gippslandwedding #melbournecelebrant #weddingcelebrant

06.01.2022 What a fantastic farewell I’ve just been a part of. The gentleman in question was so loved by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. So much love for him. All the cooking and creative skills, and incredible humour he has passed on. It’s still hard during Covid but we have to keep adapting. Very chilly doing the burial after the chapel ceremony. Got to be snowing somewhere nearby Bunurong! My job is so diverse and I’m very thankful to be working and helping families.
