25.01.2022 When I went to the Dr at the age of 19 and asked to go on the pill to help with my acne she was like yeah sure no worries. What I didn't get told was You are a higher risk of being depressed or having anxiety... It makes your hormones go completely offline. You DO NOT ovulate while on the pill. That’s how it works. It does not FIX your acne as it does not address the underlying cause. Same goes with other hormonal issues that women are put in the pill for It causes damage to the gut It causes many micronutrient deficiencies ( including folic acid, vitamins B2, B6, B12, vitamin C and E and the minerals magnesium, selenium and zinc ) It increases your risk of breast cancer I was not warned of ANY these risks and side effects I very rarely come across a women who isn’t a health practitioner who actually has had a clear understanding of how the pill works AND the dangers and risks involved. That's a little alarming don't you you think I also was laughed at by the same Dr when several months later saying I think it was making me depressed.... she literally laughed at me! When in fact it I was right. I just didn’t know what I now know! Let’s be clear . I’m not advocating no contraception. However I find it totally irresponsible that we are not warned of the dangers and side effects we when being prescribed this. We are not presented with all of the facts before we make this choice as There is more than contraception that needs to be considered. If you are on the pill and you are considering having a baby sometime in the not to far future, you will need to allow plenty off time to get a normal and regular cycle back. This can take up to 12 months as well as correct the damage to the gut and nutritional deficiencies that are causes. Particularly as these vitamins and minerals being very important to the growth of a baby. So if you didn’t know any of this or have your own story about the pill please share below

Do you understand the difference between a synthetic based and whole food supplement The whole world of supplements can be so confusing right? In this weeks video I talk about this as well as what to be aware of when buying supplements. ... FYI: The regulations around the labeling of supplements is pretty loose so you need to be savvy enough so you don’t buy things that are actually toxic to the body.

23.01.2022 I very rarely come across Anyone that doesn't have PMS or period pain. However this doesn't mean that it's normal. Each month if we are in our fertile years we get a report card.... it's our bodies way of telling us whats up. How we are doing, and if we are taking care of our home or if it needs some more TLC So while many women suffer from PMS from with symptoms such as moods swings , tender breasts, acne, bloating , back ache and then when their period begins they get pai...n, heavy bleeding, clots etc. ALL of these things are NOT normal. Common yes. But normal no. Our period should arrive DRAMA free! Our loved ones shouldn't have to run and duck for cover a week before our period arrives. We shouldn't walk around feeling like our breasts have been put into a press! While our body does change with the changes during the month understanding that these are all whispers our body is telling us GIVES us our power back Because it means you CAN do something about it. This starts with actually paying closer attention to your cycle. Not just when your period starts but the whole way through your cycle. Pay attention to how you feel and note down what symptoms you have each day. This is the first step in learning to love your cycle. If you have any comments or questions please post below

21.01.2022 Truth bomb. The last few weeks I haven't been looking after myself as well as I should be. I have been putting everyone else before myself. I wasn't putting my movement as a priority and it was my body was starting to tell me. So I listened. Before I had my kidney out I had lots of signs I wasn't right but I ignored ALL of them. ... I had put on 'weight' on but I didn't feel heavy I felt puffy. I was only 26 and thought shit maybe I am starting to get 'old'. I even went out for a birthday and had a 3 drinks and was violently ill. I knew something was wrong. I would get crazy headaches I couldn't control my emotions My skin would flare up I felt out of control But I still ignored it. Until I had no choice but to listen. I had serious pain. I was rushed to hospital. 5 days later and one kidney left I then had to pick up all the pieces and put myself back together. Our body SPEAKS to us. First in whispers and then it will start to talk louder. Then YELL and then pull on the brakes and hit you with a tonne of bricks. I had to learn how to check into my body the hard way. I still need a constant reminder but I am much more in tune with myself than I was 10 years ago. So what do those whispers look like? They could looks like a whole range of things but here are the most common ones I see. - lack on energy - sleep issues - digestion issues - IBS, constipation, diahreah, bloating, gas - Skin issues. Acne , roasachea, psoriasis , eczema - weight gain or loss - depression, anxiety, panic attacks, irritability, being triggered to all fuck - dissatisfied relationships - Female hormonal issues such as period pain, and PMS. ( common but NOT normal.) - Inflammation, joint pain, muscle pain, switching muscles and spasms - allergies, constant colds and flu's This is just a brief list.... but I know I used to put up with a lot of these and just think it was normal. It's not. The reality was that is was my BODY telling me I was out of alignment. Physically Emotionally Spiritually I now use it as my road map. When things come up I now listen. Sometimes it takes a bit of freaking time. I am no where near perfect. But it's the most amazing thing when we actually listen to this built in GPS. We shouldn't have to loose an organ to get that message.

12.01.2022 If I say ' ' or ' ' then It implies that I need something outside of myself to complete me. That I am not. Whole being. Like hello WTF did I go? Did I loose my soul at the supermarket? Did I leave it in the trolley ?Or on the seat of the bus ? Is it on top of a mountain in Peru? Like where did I go? If I was to chop all of myself up into tiny little pieces until there was nothing left where would I be? .... ' ... ' ' ' It . That part of me that is always there. That doesn't actually disappear. My true soul essence. This just flowed to me and I whenever I remember this I breathe a sigh of relief. a simple reframe in language and change in perspective can provide a t difference experience. It takes away that PAIN and exhaustion of continually looking for something outside and knowing that it is actually there we just have to re establish the connect.

07.01.2022 If you're feeling helpless, help someone. Aung San Suu Kyi I am applying this to my life when I get into victim / helpless mode. When we feel helpless.... sometimes the best thing we can do is to ask ourselves.... who can I help..... This shifts it from ME into WE and changes our focus. Stops the ' poor me ' story and puts me into service. Who can I help. How can I serve. It doesn't have to be something huge.... Sometimes It could be just taking the time to help a mum or an elderly person at the shop. Sometimes it's calling a friend or offering to help a friend. Sometimes it's giving money or time to charity I love. Simple. But powerful. It shifts me from being powerless to powerful.

06.01.2022 The Australian of the year. The war on sugar! Hoorah. It's always so exciting when a DR starts talking about prevention with DIET! ... This Australia Day for many of us has had a very different feel to it. For some with the fires and a deeper appreciation for our land and those who have worked so hard to protect it. For others feelings of sadness and anger as this day shouldn't even be celebrated, given the horrid brutality that took place to our indigenous Australians. However whilst I have mixed feeling about 'the day ' I am actually pretty freaking excited and impressed by the Australian of the year winner , Dr James Muecke. I listened to his interview on ABC radio today and the bit that I really love about him is that he is actually talking about the impact of SUGAR on type 2 diabetes, which is totally preventable!!!! Plus he seems like a very heart driven soul who is actually making a massive difference He made it very clear that the issues of sugar in Australia really needs to be addressed so we can prevent this disease in the first place. He has seen too many loose sight from this disease that didn’t have to. One third of people with diabetes potentially going blind from type 2 diabetes.... This is one of the most common complications of diabetes. They don't advertise that on a can of coke or a packet of Tim tams do they? Warning .... diabetes can cause blindness! Tbh if your a fan of my page you prob already know this. But many sadly still haven’t got the message. So as many people probably chowed down some fairy bread today .... this message will hopefully reach people that haven’t got it yet! It will be exciting to see what conversations this starts. Lets hope this creates some real change where its actually needed.

02.01.2022 Anyone else a little bit worried about the radiation from your phone? Radiation from mobile phones is a massive problem.EMF's are like the new smoking. And I am a little bit scarced. For myself... For my friends For my future family I feel like we are all going to look back in 20 years time and ask WTF were we doing. Like how the hell did we smoke inside and in aeroplanes???? My mum had a brain tumour. It was on the same side of her head that she help her mobilephone. hmmm just think about that for a bit. I tried to get her to stop using her phone but she by that stage sort of didn't care. Or kept forgetting because she had a big chunk of a brain cut out of her. Do I think this is the cause of it? Maybe. It defiantly wasn't the only thing but it was a contributor. Charlie Teo who is a brain surgeon and has done research that shows the link of long term mobile phone use and brain cancer. He doesn't even use a computer in his office (apparently )what does that tell you There is endless information out there and warning you it will freak you out if you go down the rabbit hole. Here are a few things I now do I have a sell safe cover for my phone and ONLY ever talk on this when it's close. Otherwise, I use speaker.... and hold it away from my body I turn wifi off at night I turn my phone on aeroplane mode as much as possible I don't sleep with my phone near my head and have it on aeroplane mode I have a timer on my wifi I have a tourmaline crystal near my computer and wifi router in the house I walk barefoot on the ground. This is meant to balance out the positive ions that we get from phones, wifi's etc I don't use Bluetooth in the car. Things I plan on doing sometime in the future buy a BlueShield device hardwire my internet live out of the city. If anyone has any other things they do to protect themselves I'd love to hear. This is not my topic of expertise but it is something I am always telling clients to get on top of because I have researched enough to learn about the dangers and effects of this.

A roadmap of where you are going and what life you want to create..... How you want to FEEL, be, do and experience? What’s your vision ? It’s one of my most favourite questions I ask people. This was one of my questions I asked my Fiancé when we first met that made me lean in. Clear direction in what you want makes life decisions a whole lot easier. The stronger this gets then the harder it is for you to be knocked off balance.
