12.01.2022 Scuola Grande di San Rocco is well worth a visit if you love the work of Tintoretto. The stories and interwoven art history is fantastic, not to mention the paintings. I was lucky enough to be visiting at a time when it was quiet enough to lie down on the floor and take in the ceiling view without straining my neck or using a mirror (available).It was just stunning. Tintoretto aimed to combine the design skill of Michaelangelo and the colourist skill of Titian. This article explains more and how Bowie owned a piece of his work.

09.01.2022 I’ve just had the pleasure of attending an intimate performance of Baroque music played on Baroque cello, violin and piano(a copy of the original piano)in the enchanting setting of Montsalvat, Eltham. The first artist’s colony in Australia (1930’s) Still a baby compared to the age of this beautiful music and historical instruments. Thank you Arcadia and Montsalvat for a wonderful afternoon.
