24.01.2022 NEW PODCAST EPISODE Ep 108 - HOW TO BE BETTER AT THE NOW OF WORK w/ Donna McGeorge It was fabulous to hear the multiple facets of Donna McGeorge’s pastfrom childhood through workwhat she has learnt about herself and ultimately how all these experiences have resulted in her being one of the best in the business.... Donna is passionate about making work work and enhancing the large amount of time we spend in our workplace (too much, for many) to ensure it is effective and productive, as well as enjoyable...so that ultimately, we become better humans outside of work. In this episode we discuss: How COVID-19 created a new ‘Adaptive Capacity’ that has unlocked the opportunity to operate differently The importance of carving off 20% of your day to stop, think and create Why a crucial part of unleashing our own brilliance is to identify when we do our best work and to give ourselves permission to structure our days around this awareness The need to continually learn from others BUT to not let this limit you. Donna has authored 8 books, her CV as an employee and her client list now is way too long to list here. Her mantra I love - "when we decide to be intentional, we can surprise ourselves with what we can achieve. LISTEN IN - https://link.chtbl.com/DonnaMcGeorge

17.01.2022 WHO IS PACKING YOUR PARACHUTE? I want to share a story - one that I often share when hosting webinars or speaking at events. During the Vietnam War there was a fighter pilot called Captain Charlie Plumb. ... He flew 74 successful missions during the war. On his 75th mission, just 5 days before he was due to end his tour, he was shot down and taken as a prisoner of war. He spent over 2000 days locked in a cell that was 2 x 2m big (and we thought lockdown was bad). After the war ended he returned home to America and one day a stranger approaches him and asks. Are you Captain Charlie Plumb? You flew 74 successful combat missions in the war and then were shot down on your 75th. Captain Charlie Plumb turns to the stranger and says, Yes, how did you know? The stranger replies, Because I was the one who packed your parachute. Oftentimes we don’t really stop to think about the people in our lives who have our back no matter what. The ones who keep us grounded and truly care for our wellbeing. The ones who are ask, Are you really okay? when things are getting tough. These are the people I call your Pit Crew and they are invaluable to have in your network. Think about it now, who in your professional life are your Pit Crew? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS

15.01.2022 I AM INCREDIBLY INDEPENDENT. This has been a strength of mine throughout my life when I needed to believe in myself and get things done. But it's also been one of my greatest weaknesses. ... I've had to learn that it's okay to ask for help. I've had to learn that it's okay to lean on people (like my amazing husband) for support. I've had to learn that meeting people and having other amazing, brilliant, women in my network is the key to my success. That even if I could do it alone, I wouldn't want to. Across the years I've talked to many other female business owners and CEOs and a lot of these sentiments were reflected back to me as well. So this is my reminder to all of the women in business whether they be side hustles, or major global conglomerates, it's not weak to be supported. It's not weak to let people help you. It's not weak to ask for help. It's not weak to be human and not be able to do it all. You are so much stronger than you realise and if you like me are struggling by being the obstacle in your own way, then I welcome you onto this journey with me. To move out of your own way so you can create magic. To become the brilliant you that you are supposed to be. To elevate yourself and everyone around you.

06.01.2022 ONE OF MY PASSIONS IS HELPING WOMEN IN BUSINESS And recently I have had the absolute pleasure of helping Bec Chappell This what Bec had to say about the transformation she's been through. ... "Before I started working with Janine I was so fresh to business, I felt so nervous and unsure of what I was trying to achieve, I didn’t really have direction of who I wanted to work with but rather just wanted to win work. I wasn’t sure of any solid goals, I hadn’t planned for a month, a quarter or a year I suffered from imposter syndrome and would freeze thinking who am I to be doing this work - Am I good enough? Working with Janine has changed my life. Anyone who is willing to do the work, delve deep into the reason they want to succeed in business and why they are doing what they’re doing should work with Janine. She will help you work through personal and professional barriers and open your eyes to doing business differently. I could not recommend working with Janine highly enough." If you are in a similar situation to Bec and need someone to guide and mentor your through the mental world that is being a woman in business DM me "MENTOR" and let's see if we're the right fit for each other.
