22.01.2022 Dear JEBASC Families, We understand how stressful this situation is and we are trying our best to keep up with the ever changing situation. Effective tomorrow, all children enrolled at JEBASC who do not attend the Centre, due to the Governments reccomendation, will not be charged fees. Their enrolled position will not change or be effected by the non payment of fees. We will keep you updated when we know more. At this stage, children of essential service staff are to attend t...he Centre. This is the same advice given out by JEPS. Kind regards, Sara Briggs JEBASC President

21.01.2022 Last Monday the children at JEBASC got to enjoy their Christmas Party. They all had so much fun and really enjoyed feeding, holding and patting the animals.

20.01.2022 As the start of school draws closer, now is the time to check your childs Anaphylaxis and Allergic Reaction Plans. It is imperative that JEBASC has an up to date action plan and autoinjector for your child if they require one. It is also imperative to have an up to date Asthma plan if your child requires one. The staff at JEBASC will be checking all current plans we have at the centre and if your childs plan or autoinjector is out of date, you will be contacted. Please remember JEBASC operates outside of school hours and does not have access to the school office.

16.01.2022 JEBASC is excited to send out our first Newsletter for 2020. Keep a look out for it in your emails. We will be sending out a monthly newsletter keeping you up to date with what is happening at the Centre.

15.01.2022 Dear JEBASC Families, To enable the appropriate ratio of staff to students, and adequate food to be prepared, JEBASC needs to be notified 12 hours before the start of each session (6:30am and 3pm) if your child will not be attending. You will need to mark your child absent in the My Family Lounge app or notify Betty. If notification is not given, you will be charged for the session. During this time, if you mark your child absent, you will not be charged for the session rega...rdless of whether your child has a permanent booking. We will not be enforcing our 2-week cancellation policy but if you do not give 12 hours absent notice, you will be charged. Looking to the future, your childs permanent placement will not be cancelled. Our cancellation policy will not be in effect and all permanent and casual bookings will retain their place during this time. No fees will be charged if your child has been marked absent during this time. The Committee and Staff at JEBASC would like to thank all families for their understanding. We appreciate how stressful this situation is with the constantly changing requirements and restrictions. We will update you all with any new information when we receive it. At this time, the Government has recommended that parents keep their children at home from school if possible. This recommendation also applies to JEBASC. Kind regards, Sara Briggs JEBASC President

14.01.2022 Dear JEBASC Families, We have created a new policy for COVID-19. This will be implemented immediately and will not go through the normal 2 week feedback period. As always, we do welcome any and all feedback on our policies and the COVID-19 policy is not an exception to this. Due to the seriousness of the virus, the policy will be in affect as of today but we will take any feedback on board. Changes will be made to the policy when the Government releases new information. Any c...hanges made to the policy will communicated with all families at JEBASC. A copy of this new policy is available on our website and at the Centre. You will also receive an emailed copy today. Kind regards, Sara Briggs JEBASC President
