20.01.2022 Congratulations everyone. We have made it to day 9 and our grand final celebration. Last Saturday, our finals day at The Ridge, we received a COVID visit from ...NSW Police during the 12:00 time slot following a complaint. We were requested to make additional announcements that the NSW police were in attendance to ensure adherence to public health orders. As part of our grand final celebration we must all continue to follow OUR COVID SAFETY PLAN. We all understand that this is far from a normal season but this is not a normal year. We are limited to 500 persons in each of our outdoor playing zones. That equates to a maximum of 15 people per team, per court, including players, coaches, managers, umpires and spectators. Thank you to all our members and their families for their understanding and compliance with our return to play plan. We look forward to your continued support and co-operation on our Finals day at Bellingara. Karen Salter and SSNA Executive

11.01.2022 SUMMER COMP BELLINGARA WEDNESDAYS After some fun & fitness? Come and play in the 2020 Summer Comp at Bellingara Courts on a Wednesday Comp commences Wednesday 14 October 2020. Last play date will be Wednesday 9 December 2020. (No play on Wednesday 18 Nov). Club Registrations will be via your club as per winter competition. ... Registration close date will be approx. Thursday 10 September 2020. Competition is social and will be first past the post (no trophies). Junior male and female aged 8 to 16 years. Time Slots 4:45pm & 5:50pm starts (8 year olds will be accepted for registration; however they will be playing on full height goalposts and will be required to play against 9 year olds.) Senior male and female players aged 16+. Game times - 7.00pm and 8.05pm. If sufficient numbers we will have a Mixed Division. If not, they will be incorporated into the appropriate Senior grades. Mixed rules - no more than 3 males per team are allowed on the court at any time. Only 1 male per team is permitted in each 3rd of the court. (Junior and Senior Comp). Club uniforms are not compulsory (players should be appropriately dressed). Teams must wear & supply their own bibs. Teams must organise & pay for their own umpires. Cost (SSNA are charging a nominal fee to participants to cover some costs (eg cleaning, lighting, fencing). 1) For players who are already registered with Netball NSW in 2020: TWILIGHT COMP (8 years to 16 years) - $5 SENIOR NIGHT COMP (16 years +) - $10 2) For players who have not registered with Netball NSW in 2020: TWILIGHT COMP (8 years to 16 years) - $58 (this is the Netball NSW fee of $47.93 + $10 SSNA fee) SENIOR NIGHT COMP (16 years +) - $83 (this is the Netball NSW fee of $63.10 + $20 SSNA fee) ORGANISE YOUR TEAM AND ADVISE YOUR CLUB’S SUMMER NETBALL CONTACT - Send email to [email protected] with a list of full names of players.
