24.01.2022 Today is the day Melburnians! Stage 4 lock down is over and we can finally 'get on the beers' Congratulations guys, we did it!

24.01.2022 And that's a wrap for 2020! What a year it has been! The machines are now washed and getting a well earned break (along with their hard working operators) in preparation for a bigger and better 2021!

23.01.2022 Our 13T Excavator has just been fitted out with new rubber tracks or as we like to say 'new shoes'. How good does this bad boy look with new treads? Thanks to the guys at Densley Earthmoving Repairs Pty LTD for always providing us with great servicing and repairs on our machinery.

23.01.2022 It has just been over two weeks since Melbourne went into Stage 4 lock down and the construction industry was put on a 'pilot light' setting. Luckily Jans Contracting is involved in the Sunbury Line Upgrade which is classed as a Critical State Construction Project. This has meant, a part from some reduced hours, our crew have been able to continue to work. The Sunbury Line Upgrade will maximise the benefits of the Metro Tunnel Project, allowing trains to run more frequently... and carry more passengers. We can't wait until Stage 4 restrictions ease so that other industries who have not been as fortunate as us can resume.

21.01.2022 Jans Contracting is excited to be a part of the the stage 2 works of the Monash Freeway Upgrade. Stage two will involve adding 36kms of new lanes on the Monash and Princes Freeways, between: - Warrigal Road and EastLink outbound - EastLink to Springvale Road inbound... - Clyde Road to Cardinia Road, in both directions. We look forward to commencing works next week!

18.01.2022 It was a tight squeeze working under this bridge but thanks to William Adams Cat 330 Next Generation Excavator the job was a breeze! Fitted with a height limiter known as ‘E-Fence’, this allowed the machine to set a barrier around it that restricts the slew range, height, floor & reach. This sure made working with height restrictions a smooth and productive process!

This gem is only a year old which can only mean one thing, or make that two! It's in mint condition and is a delight to operate. Who would love to give this 8 Tonne beauty a work out?
