16.01.2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DW2PY9QncA here's a little beautiful piece, not too hard, by Peter Maxwell Davies who was born in Salford, Manchester but later moved to Orkney in the Channel Islands. It's called The Yellow Cake Revue, no. 3 Farewell to Stromness and is a slow lament of a folk tune. It's very good for finger control and bringing out the melody in different voices. It would be nice to sightread too so I'll be getting a copy and playing it.
