07.01.2022 Hope some of our holiday guests get to experience this, it is amazing! I didn't believe it could be real until I experienced it for myself and it was just surreal and so beautiful.

04.01.2022 I am not sure exactly what it is but when I get to Jan's Retreat this calming feeling kicks in, the pace slows and nature starts to surround and nurture me. Views over the ever changing water, gentle sunrises and sunsets, bird sounds and sightings of all types (although could do without the wattle birds!) and inquisitive possums making night time visits bring joy. Cool breezes and misty rain on a tin roof make sleeping blissful. Feeling blessed.

01.01.2022 Do you know what the beautiful bioluminescence looks like during the day? The algae that is responsible for this phenomenon actually looks red/pink during the d...ay. We have had confirmation it is a non-toxic algae, but we do advise to avoid swimming in areas where it is concentrated due to possible skin irritations. #ShoalhavenCity
