25.01.2022 Young boys are interested in cooking at home specially Japanese cooking. Great. Ha ha Maybe eating. They ate a lot. No left overs for us.
25.01.2022 We had made bento boxes from Urangan Market stall owners. Putting lots of yammy foods in. We made a few extra ones thinking for me. But nothing left. Everybody was very happy.

24.01.2022 We are so lucky to have very generous neighbours who love fishing. 3 boys went fishing with a charted boat and caught those super fresh fish. And one of boys came us one huge one. Ideally for sashimi. Oh, Yammy.

18.01.2022 We have visited such a beautiful house in Takura to show couples to cook a few different sushi inc. super fresh tuna..And yammY Tempura, Beef steak with Japanese teriyaki sauce. Everybody is very keen student and lots of questions. Well done. Next time, we will go again to teach French dinner.

15.01.2022 Our small cooking class has been popuar a little by little. Even a couple came from Belgium to join the class. They made Sushi rolls, Tempura, Beef Tetiyaki abd dessert. Extra class to teach how to use chopsticks. Very sweet couple.

14.01.2022 We had 4 young boys came to do cooking lesson. For them, we made special menu.ad they requesting. Japanese style curry, Chicken Karaage, Ramen( noodle), okonomiyaki,.and dessert. Lots of carbohydrates but they need it to grow more and more. Ha ha They ate everything. No left overs.
10.01.2022 It is in winter. Hot pot is grea. Let's mame our national cuisine, sukiyaki. Need a very sharp Japanese knife to cut beef like this.
09.01.2022 A challenge! 3 beautiful ladies were waiting to do Cooking lesson. Sound very easy but they are all Vegan and one of them was gluten free. What Aki forcused to do was cook vegies with totally different sauces from their ordinally cooking. So the menus were 1: Green beans with black sesami, miso, mirin paste 2: Soba noodle salad using 100%buckwheat with soy sauce base dressing 3: Green and red capsicum with white sesami, miso sauce 4: Tofu steak with special soy base sauce wi...th salad 5:Vegies tempura with dipping sauce, daikon radish grated. 6: coconuts icecream with azuki beans paste It was a big day for everybody but they were very happy they now know they can enjoy vegies in so many different flavours which they never trieg before. Also, they coudn't eat chocolate for a long time but they can cook Azuki beans to make paste. That tastes like chocolate but with beans which is much bettet option. We felt ourselves we have done good job. Thanking them to give us the challenging oppotunity.
09.01.2022 We had a nice & relaxing holiday in our town. Getting a bit lazier. No,no,no. We are now ready to do actions. We saw a fresh and young ginger in a market right now. Last year, we made a lot of ginger pickles which you may know as the best friend of sushi and we still have it in a fridge. So we made ginger pickles in different flavour which is easier. Have a try. Only those young gingers with see through skin on. Need Ginger, soy sauce, and mirin 1: Keep those gingers in wa...ter for a few hours 2: Ski became softer and skin off with a spoon 3: Thin slice 4: Mix with say and mirin sauce 5: keep it with the sauce in a fridge and enjoy for 6 months. Cut to dice and sprinkle over salad, stirfried vegies &rice, soup, hamberger, and steak. Great friend. Sorry it is too simple but good to eat. See more
09.01.2022 Serious kitchen knife technique. 2 beautiful couples joined our Easy Japanese Cooking Lesson. What we made, 1: Green beans with black sesami miso dressing 2: Chawan Mushi, steamed egg custard 3: Sushi rolls 4: Prawn abd vegies Tempura... 5: Beef Tetiyaki with Salad 6: 3 colours ice cream with Azuki Beans paste They are young and nothing left. 07.01.2022 Hi everybody! Happy and healthy? 3 beautiful ladies have asked to do cooking lesson. One lady is Vegan,.gluten free, pepper & chilly free. The second lady is Vegitalian, and the third lady eats everything. Ha ha Another Challenging! We made chawanmushi, greenbeans homaae, and Tempura. Plus sushi with black rice. They requested to make sushi with black rice. We never used it before. So we tried to cook it a few days before and very yammy. We strongly recommend you to use black... rice to eat with much better nutrition. How to use it, # soak it in water and a pinch of salt overnight. # mix with white rice using the soaked water as well. # cook as you do for rice Black rice is Starchy and look pinky colour. You will love it. Another happy customers.
