This is not for sale yet (needs wick testing)but I’m sharing as I’m obsessed with this gorgoeus vessel right now, it’s so pretty (and I think many of you love pretty pictures as much as I do)

I love to incorporate pieces that are special to me when I do my pictures, even though the significance is generally to me only, going unnoticed by anyone else. Taking photographs will always soothe my soul when I need it. ... I photographed these on my fathers army trunk, as shown in the last picture. And with every click, the days troubles fell away. Thankful for the simple things that help us to slow down, step back, and process our sometimes complex challenges.

I have been holding off on this for quite a while...unfortunately there has been a significant increase in my own costs over the last couple of years, and now I must implement an increase in price myself. This candle pictured made its way to Brisbane earlier this year, but I’ve been lucky enough to find its twin vessel (thank you That’s Nice Antique and Second Hand in Goomeri) and it’s waiting to be filled. Can be filled with any of my available fragrances which I will list in the comment section. Gorgeous Indiana glassware, this holds almost a kilo of wax and will be triple wicked. $75 for local pick up, or $95 posted. ... 15.01.2022 These ones are sold now, thank you. Some more amber glass. This is a small candle, around 12.5cm from base to top of the lid, and 8.5cm in diameter. ... Perfect for gifting, or treating yourself. It’s Cinnamon Orange, one of my favourite winter fragrances. $25 plus postage where required. I have a slightly larger vessel of this same design which I will post in the comments. The next one is not yet filled, ready to be poured in your favourite fragrance.

15.01.2022 I call two or three fragrances my ‘favourite’ and get newly obsessed with old favourites as the seasons change.....currently filling my home with reed diffusers in Christmas Pudding.....it is just so delicious. I often dislike a fragrance in my first experience of it, only to find myself absolutely loving it down the track. Does anyone do this?

13.01.2022 I’ve been hesitant to post here given the current state of the world, we’re pushing through uncertain days and I think most of us don’t know which way is up sometimes. Personally I try to have little anchoring points throughout my day, to help keep me grounded. Early morning exercise, checking in on friends, taking the time to light a candle. ... These are some of the ways I anchor my days. It’s not always that easy. But I believe it can help. I’m continuing to pour candles.....it’s actually more therapeutic to me than even lighting one, so there’s a little win. I would love to hear the ways you’re dealing with stress, the simpler the better. Glassware stands at 16cm high, 26cm long, and 22cm wide. She’s a scene stealer, and a show stopper, and will absolutely give your home the Christmas ambience of your dreams. This candle is $120 and ready to be poured for you. Unfortunately, due to the design of this candle, pick up is preferred, I’m very sorry. I have a Bush Christmas candle in the prettiest vintage glassware that I’ve been burning all week, I just don’t want it to come to an end even though I will re-pour into it when, inevitably, it’s all gone. If you’re a Christmas candle lover who’d like to stash a couple of extras away to get you through the year I have a few Christmas Puddings and Christmas Tree candles I’m offering for $25 each (plus postage). ... 03.01.2022 When I come home and light a candle, it’s so much more than a flame on a wick in a vessel filled with wax. When I strike the match and put it to the wick I’m reminding myself to slow down...to breathe a little slower, and a little deeper. I’m reminding myself that I have a home, a sanctuary...whether it be a mansion or a shed...I have somewhere to escape from the outside world when it feels all just too harsh, and I feel just too soft and vulnerable to face it. ... I remind myself that I don’t need to search out more too-much-to-handle-right-now current events, or seemingly perfect ideals to strive for, through my phone or laptop. The day can be enough as it is, just as it is. I remind myself that in order to be bold enough, strong enough, and fired up enough to go out and give the world my BEST SELF, I have to make sure that I take the time to rest, recuperate, and restore my soul. A candle doesn’t do all that. Of course. But it’s a marker...a reminder, and just an ever so small part of all the small things that help us recharge to do all the big, bold and beautiful things in our lives. Note: you don’t even need to light a candle...take your shoes off and stand on the grass (if you can find some, feet worthy grass is a bit thin on the ground here), talk to a dog, make a funny face at a toddler....just place markers throughout your day, I promise you they’ll all add up and make your day better. xx

So, if you’ve lost your grip on the calendar, like me...it’s Monday tomorrow, and the Friday following is Good Friday! ... I can’t believe how quickly I have lost track of time. It really is a strange time we’re moving through right now. Anyway, Hot Cross Bun candles are definitely here and this week is the time to have one! $28.95 plus postage.
