17.01.2022 If you can find the broken piece of your bat it makes a huge difference to the repair, instead of using fillers the original willow will be much stronger once glued back into place and look like nothing ever happened (hopefully).. #jarcutta #bellarine

13.01.2022 Last 3 of my Australian grown willow. I am about to start making a batch of new bats from genuine UK grown English Willow so am clearing these at great prices. All bats in this post are $300 and specs below are listed for the bat from left to right in all pics Bat 1: Blue Chip 2' 9oz, 56mm spine, 27mm edge, full profile with clear extratec face and 12 grains. Bat 2: Mirror... 2' 10oz, 58mm sharp spine, 29mm edge, square toe (can be rounded if prefered), clear extratec face and 11 grains. Bat 3: Blue Chip Big 2' 15oz great pick-up, 59mm spine which runs through toe, 37mm edge, thick square handle feels great in hands, 10 grains, natural face but can have extratec fitted.

11.01.2022 Next up are 2 bats deemed "never to use again"... well glad to say that I've hit about 300 bowling machine balls on each of the edge grafts and have had no issues. I was taught by a very reliable bat repairer how to do this type of graft and it works... If you have a bat that you think can't be fixed then you might be surprised to find out that it could be.. #jarcuttaretrorefurb #jarcutta

The BPCA "A" Grade games and run scoring record holder and allround legend Robert "Veteran" Malcolm from the Drysdale CC anxiously handed his baby over to me which I must admit I nearly declined due to the pressure of fixing such an important part of his history. The fact that it was so bad and he wanted to keep using it put plenty of doubt into my mind but I've given it my best.. The main requirement was too not change the shape of the toe.... 01.01.2022 Check out this size 4 beast. It was a full size Kooka Kahuna with broken shoulders and toe. I cut them both off, set a new handle and slightly reshaped the toe leaving it nearly full profile though Mirror in pic is for scale #jarcutta #jarcuttajunior
