Thursday and Friday are generally the days we make Haloumi, finish packaging and get ready for the Saturday markets at Margaret River and Manning with monthly Boyanup market as well on Sunday. Cheers... In answer to a couple of queries all of the rennet used in our various cheeses is plant based. Also many thanks to those who are visiting us at the Manning Farmers Market with many taking advantage to pre-order their butter and cheese much like the supermarkets click & collect!

It's Amore (the heart) is a white moulded cheese with a smooth creamy, slightly crumbly centre with overtones of mushroom and Tartufo is a soft cultured cheese with a real truffle layer that has earthy flavours and a rich tang that can only come from truffles. This week we are trialling a baked curd where you can add the flavours you want. Some serving suggestions include: ... - strawberries with balsamic; - cranberry and red onion; - sundired tomatoes and pine nuts; - pesto and pine nuts; - dried fruit and sherry; - fig, rum and walnuts; and - fried garlic mushrooms. Will post same for other flavours soon. - stir through pasta or risotto - cut and place on cooked steak, chicken or fish fillet - Place under skin of chicken or turkey and then roast - add to gravy... - place on whole BBQd corn or stir thru other steamed vegies - mmm, my favourite, cook your scrambled eggs in the melted butter - add to your hamburger The list is endless. Experiment. You wont be disappointed. See more

17.01.2022 Hi everyone. Yes, we are back in person at the markets this weekend - Margaret River, Manning and Boyanup. Sorry if you came looking for us last weekend and we weren't there but our commercial kitchen extensions were in full swing and hook-up underway. Sadly, we were unable to continue with our production while this happended. We have however used this down time to fine tune our new butter - Seaweed which has come about through many months of pestering by our friends who ...are avid fishers - R, T & B who believe there is nothing better on freshly caught snapper or prawns. Seaweed Butter will be at the markets for tasting this weekend. Love to get your feedback before we undergo full production just in time for Christmas. 08.01.2022 Just in from processing today. Made another batch of Ghee. Amazing. We are getting great reviews on our ghee and I am so pleased with its flavour. Come and check it out. Also, chocolate butter is back for Easter but only for the next two weeks. We will be introducing microgreens (or Micro Gems as we have branded them) in the next week or two. 07.01.2022 Hi everyone. Sorry for not posting an update before today (hate this thing called social media). At Jardin Estate we have been really busy - chocolate butter has made a return leading up to Easter (this is better than ever), Ghee has joined our product range and we are getting rave reviews from local chefs and customers, and a new product range is about to hit our market stall. Yep, we will be producing Micro Gems (greens) in a couple of weeks. Very exciting given that these little beauties pack a punch in nutritional content (up to 40 x their grown up cousins) and flavour, hence their name Micro Gems.
