Telecommunications Pit and Pipe Labourers Due to a large roll out growing at an extremely fast pace, we are looking to engage qualified professionals to join our team. ... These positions are ideal for someone with experience in either telecommunications or civil construction, as well as someone who is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors. Any candidates with previous telecommunications, pit and pipe and/or cable hauling experience will be highly regarded. The role will involve general labouring duties associated with telecommunications construction and maintenance including cable hauling duties. Daily tasks will include: - Pit, Pipe, and Conduit construction and maintenance - Cable Hauling including Rod and Rope - Concreting, - Digging. - Basic labouring tasks Ideal candidates: We are looking for people with experience working on telecommunications networks with a strong work ethic and a safety first approach. Applicants must possess the following as a minimum: - Construction Induction - White Card - Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (CPR has to be valid with 12 months) - Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence - Current Police check (6 month validity) - Project specific inductions to be completed once successful The following licences or certificates would be advantageous - Telstra Pit & Pipe Accreditation - Asbestos Class B Licence - Working in Confined Spaces certificate - Working at Heights certificate This is a great position in which you can further your telecommunications experience and grow a career working on the telecommunications roll outs.
