13.01.2022 Common impairments in Idiopathic Neck Pain Here is a summary of the research for impairments found in Idiopathic Neck Pain (i.e. Non-Whiplash and Non-Radicular) Much is credited to Jull et al and their brilliant section in Grieves Modern Musculoskeletal Therapy... 01.01.2022 Something to consider when treating runners who have presented with hamstring soreness It is important to ask about the tempo of the runner's training sessions ("what days are you working on speed?") I believe you could also add hill running into this equation considering the increased load it places on the hamstrings... Consider whether they are doing this type of tempo on consecutive days and also whether they are placing it directly after other taxing activities such as strength & conditioning Managing the runner's training schedule is perhaps the single most important part of the consultation!! Don't skip it! You absolutely need this data from your patients from day 1 so you can manage their training load appropriately #runningwild #parkrun #physiotherapy
