20.01.2022 Last week we had a very generous donation of soil from our locally owned #GoGrow landscape supplier, at West Ballina. Thank you very much. This soil, will be very beneficial in rejuvenating our veggie patches, and our future seed planting, ready for spring. Thanks to Chef Peter, for organising.

20.01.2022 Pete's Ultimate Sausage Roll.. Was served for lunch today, packed with healthy goodness.. Brown Rice, Black beans, cheese, beef, spinach, and every other vegetable imaginable, served with a tomato and mango sauce. The jarjum mirh loved them. Healthy food = Strong Black and Deadly.

17.01.2022 We had a gorgeous surprise yesterday delivered by Maxine (Director) from The Ballina River Street Community Pre-school. Each year this pre-school has visited and taken part in our cultural activities for NATSI Children's Day at our centre. This year due to Covid, we were unable to celebrate together. The loss of not having this special day to celebrate indigenous culture was felt by the young jarjum mirr. The jarjum mirr, from River Street, made individual cards and felt... hearts for every jarjum. The kids and educators were amazed and very touched by the thoughtful gesture. Big thank you to Maxine, The educators and all the jarjum mirr, for thinking of us. Here is a picture of their amazing work. Fingers crossed, next year we will all be together celebrating our Bundjalung culture. #NATSIChildrensDay2020#StrongInCulture #EldersOfTomorrow See more

11.01.2022 Every year for the past 6yrs we have celebrated ATSI Children's Day, sharing our culture with different pre-schools within our community. Due to Covid-19, we are unable to do so. This year's theme is "We are the Elders of tomorrow, hear our voice" Jarjum Bugal Nah will be distributing bags full of fun activities home, for the jarjum mirh. To help celebrate the day you can download more fun filled activities from http://aboriginalchildrensday.com.au/resources.... If you have done anything to celebrate this special day, we would love you to share. Every week our jarjums are learning about Bundjalung culture. Tomorrow we will share their voices, on what Elders mean to them. #NATSIChildrensDay2020 #EldersOfTomorrow #StrongInCulture See more
