22.01.2022 Fun fact: Tails up means they are connected to a nipple and getting milk. All are growing well, gaining ~10% of their weight each day. Buckle's tired, but doing her duties very well.

21.01.2022 20 calls done today, about 70 to go! Sometimes our calls come from overseas numbers (eg, Spain, USA) as we're calling via Skype (poor mobile service in our area). It'd be really helpful if you answer us if you can! We'll always work to call within your stated visibility. next calling day will be Thursday between 11am and 8pm.

19.01.2022 Puppies are 4 weeks old! Today they started on solid foods. Minced chicken wings and frames which they all ate with gusto. They are growing so fast!

19.01.2022 30 more calls today, making progress! Tuesday will be the next day for calls.

19.01.2022 The puppies get to play with raw chicken wings a few times a day - they cannot eat them yet, but they are learning what to do gradually. Some sucking and chewing, some tug-o-war between puppies. Over the next two weeks they'll start pulling bits of meat off (and gradually weaning from mum). We made 25 more calls today, and plan to make more calls on Thursday - thanks for your patience if you have not got a call yet - you will not be forgotten!

18.01.2022 Puppies are 11 days old now. Their eyes and ears are still closed, but they will start opening in the next week. All growing well (and they are certainly latching on properly!). Olivia is stoic and mothering, a total champ!

14.01.2022 We give smaller puppies some extra feeding time with mum. They seem to enjoy it (and Buckle... accepts it).

05.01.2022 It's fascinating to see them develop Ridgeback mannerisms at such an early age. Buckle often sleeps on her back (as do some other Ridgebacks to our amusement). The puppies are also starting to stretch more like adult dogs do after waking up.

05.01.2022 This is what Buckle has in ONE meal; 5 chicken wings (730g), two BARF patties (520g), and half a cup of milky broth - four times a day!
