24.01.2022 BACK IN THE KITCHEN You guys I suddenly stopped sharing my home-made dinners as the comparison bug got to me and I told myself my meals weren't that exciting, my photos weren't that good, noone wants to see it etc etc But I missed it so I'm back!!! I'm just your average busy Mum & Wife making quick and easy dinners for my family that I like to share for a bit of dinner inspiration ... So here's tonight's belly warming dinner - Thai yellow veggie curry & rice, with kaffir lime leaves and red chillis picked from the garden to make this curry fragrant and delicious
23.01.2022 For dinner I made the TikTok Baked Feta Pasta that's been doing the rounds lately. It was surprisingly tasty, simple to throw everything on a tray and bake in the oven, a nice easy mid week dinner. As well as the cherry tomatoes, danish feta, dried oregano, olive oil, salt & pepper - I added chopped chorizo and once cooked added some grated lemon rind, fresh basil and about a cup of the pasta water with the cooked pasta to make it nice and saucy Have you tried it? What did you think?

16.01.2022 Perth kids are now back to School, a week late due to lockdown, so it's our 1st week back! Miss A is starting Kindergarten - can't believe my 3 year old is going to School! We packed her lunchbox together, letting her choose what goes in there means there's a better chance of her finishing it The bento style lunchboxes are great, no need for extra items in packaging and the seal keeps everything fresh so I make them the day before so there's no rushing in the morning ... I always pack salad, fruit, grains (crackers or bread), dairy (cheese or yogurt), a treat (home-made muffin or similar) and dried fruit. Have also packed extra fruit in a separate container Are your kids back to School?
