25.01.2022 Living room transformation in Happy Valley completed Replaced old pine wall cladding and installed a new linen cupboard. New doors and a cavity sliding door has modernised the entry into this room.

24.01.2022 Installed a new black aluminium privacy screen blocking off the clients open garage. It’s created a backdrop for their new garden. @ Hyde Park

24.01.2022 Final touches on a teenage retreat I’ve converted an old garage into a new living space by lining the brick walls with plasterboard to make it feel more like an internal room and raised the ceiling height for a spacious feel. I replaced the old villa board ceiling that was severely sagging and about to fall down. All ready for painting. @ Flagstaff Hill

23.01.2022 Happy Easter to everyone! Hope you’re enjoying time with family.

23.01.2022 Simple upgrade to this existing verandah. It’s amazing what a coat of paint and new roofing sheets can do. @ Linden Park

22.01.2022 It’s been a big couple of days hand digging a trench to expose a cracked sewer pipe at my parent in-law’s house. We tried to laugh as much as possible to keep the morale up. all ready for @horncastleplumbing to complete the repairs.

17.01.2022 COVID-19 update Tools down. Today was meant to be my first day back on the job following my recent injury, however state government restrictions have prevented that. Thanks to all of my upcoming clients for being patient and understanding as I’ve had to reschedule dates for the remainder of the year. I can’t wait to get stuck in and get all of your jobs complete. For anyone attempting any home renovations over the lockdown period and have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch as I would be more than happy to provide you with advice.

17.01.2022 Who’s missing Summer? this was a little renovation I completed early last year when the weather was nice. I renovated the existing lean to and added a steel verandah. I thoroughly enjoyed bringing this project to life. @ South Plympton

14.01.2022 Pleased to have replaced a timber pergola in Millswood this week. View the before and after photos where you will see that I made the new structure higher to allow for an outdoor dining setting to be placed underneath for entertaining. The structure is all ready for vines to grow this spring

14.01.2022 You can save yourself tedious maintenance in the long term by maintaining your timber decking at least once a year. With Summer almost coming to an end, now is the time to take care of your timbers. I've written a blog with tips on how to get the job done. Happy reading and I hope this helps you. Read blog here https://bit.ly/2Vdugvo

13.01.2022 Renovation underway // I’ve built new walls, ceiling and doors ready for the clients to install a new kitchen. The new doorway has improved the floor plan layout and access to the adjoining room

13.01.2022 Congratulations to our lucky competition winner Maria from @knockknockcleaningservice enjoy the goodies from some of our favourite #adelaide businesses.

13.01.2022 Returned to a job today to install a handrail to compliment the balustrade I replaced late last year. My clients were busy over Christmas painting the front of their house. Check out the before and after shots! Their home is looking great.

07.01.2022 Just completed a custom made shed using exposed cypress pine posts and @colorbondsteel Prominence from the finesse range. The custom built timber windows provide a great view to their beautiful garden. I enjoyed the challenge of bringing this clients design to life. A big shout out to a lovely 78 year old lady called Anne who visited me twice a day on her daily walks from the retirement village around the corner. She always had positive feedback on the progress each day.

07.01.2022 It’s funny how many people stop to say hello and have a chat when you’re working on the footpath on a busy street. I replaced this Pickett fence with a more contemporary design and colour. @ Hyde Park

07.01.2022 A few pics of an upgrade to the carport at my house. I replaced the old sagging asbestos sheeting, the posts and roller door. I also raised the ceiling height so now I don’t need to worry about hitting the roller door when I have timber on my roof racks. This job had to be done. The entire roof was sagging putting pressure on the whole structure. I had to Jack the entire frame up back to level, then install new galvanised steel posts. A lot of work! At least I don’t need to worry about it collapsing on my car anymore.

07.01.2022 New front door! Replacing and fitting any door into an existing opening is never straight forward. 99% of the time you need to cut and shape the new door so it fits correctly. Unfortunately on this occasion I made a $500 cutting mistake and needed to buy another door! I learnt my lesson and now it fits and looks great! Weirdly making the mistake and going through the emotions, when the job was finally done I felt more happy than if I didn’t make the mistake in the first place.

There’s a bit in that.

05.01.2022 I’m going to be out of action for the next few weeks after an accident with a chisel on Friday. I’m counting my lucky stars as it could have been a lot worse. Don’t try this at home ..... I put a chisel in my wrist and severed a tendon and needed surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. The team at the RAH were amazing and I feel so grateful to live in Adelaide and Australia where we have an incredible health care system. Thanks to all my upcoming clients who have been so understanding about my situation. I’m looking forward to some family time with my wife and son before getting back on the tools again soon.

04.01.2022 A bit of movement over the years in this old place caused a lot of issues for this door. So much so that I replaced the entire door jamb and door. After years of experience I knew this was going to be a really challenging job, especially as this door wasn’t opening and the walls weren’t square or plumb. #chanelno5 #ilovemyjob @ Wayville, South Australia, Australia

04.01.2022 Facelift completed on a beautiful house in Beulah Park. I replaced the rotted posts and fascia board. This also gave my client a chance to change the colour scheme. I personally think the white timber work highlights the beautiful stone. What do you think? Are you a fan of the heritage green and steel lacework? Or do you prefer a modern twist on a classic home?

04.01.2022 Built a wall to surround and hide the back of a new heater that was unfortunately protruding into another room. The best of a bad situation. all ready for @ajbluntpaint to make it pretty with paint.

04.01.2022 This has come up a treat! Kapur staircase treads installed today in Lynton. Check out the before photo. They were damaged, cupped and split - bit of a hazard. All ready for a coat of oil. @ Lynton

04.01.2022 Happy to have just completed a contemporary picket fence with galvanised steel frame in Highgate. The driveway fence compliments the amazing landscaping work done by @grounddesignlandscaping The fence separates the front and backyard to keep the clients dog Wilber out of mischief. Another great design feature is that a section of the fence is completely removable, providing car access to the rear of the property. @ Highgate, South Australia, Australia

03.01.2022 Created an opening in this wall and installed a new door, giving these rooms new functionality. @ Glandore

02.01.2022 What a statement! Recently I renovated this beautiful fireplace which has now become a great feature to this living room. Some very happy clients are now keeping warm and toasty this Winter.
