22.01.2022 Inside our scrumptious pies youll find a little secret... Local meats, grown right here in Gippsland and supplied by award winning Gippsland butchers Shaws Quality Meats in Stratford. Shaws is a second generation family owned and run small business.... With a focus on maintaining the 100 mile principle, their lamb is sourced from various local suppliers for a delicious, premium product. Each week seafood and fish are sourced fresh out of Lakes Entrance. Top quality beef is grass fed and sourced from Shaws own farm in Boisdale, Victoria and from Ray Smiths farm Glencliff right here in Bairnsdale. Pigs are from Trevor and Di Flints farm Kullingral in Seaspray. Chickens from Lionica are certified Free Range and chemical free. Its easy to make the delicious pies you love at Jarrods when our local produce is just this good!

21.01.2022 THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU Thankyou to each and every person who has supported us in our first week of reopening. Thankyou to the businesses and groups who ordered slices and sandwich trays for morning tea. ... Thankyou to all the people who gave words of support, air hugs and for telling us how much youve missed us. Honestly, when youve closed your business for three months, reopening is a scary thing. We werent sure if you still needed us, we werent sure if people would come out of their homes and workplaces to support us.... But you have, and we cant thank you enough. Well continue to be here for your breaky, lunch and snacks every weekday, and in time well be ready to open weekends again. For now, thankyou for supporting local and for following our social distancing measures. Keep washing your hands and stay 1.5meters apart and hopefully we can all keep moving forward together. 16.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Dear valued customers, for years weve been proud to serve you every day with pies, breads and famously enormous sweet treats. Its been our pleasure to be part of your family and your lunch break. ... But for now, as of close of business today (Wednesday 8th April) we have decided its the right time to take a little break. We are devastated to be closing our doors - even temporarily - but the current circumstances mean that people arent taking all those lunch breaks at the moment, which makes it harder for us to keep trading. So were going to put our feet up over Easter, then well see how everything is travelling And as everything settles down and begins to return to normal well look at when is the right time to come back. So from us, just for now, thankyou for letting us be part of your breakfast, your lunch and your lives. We cant wait to come back on the other side and serve you all again. First we were open, then we were closed, then we were open again, then we added Sunday’s, then we went to takeaway....... Phew, it’s been a ride!
